This place has a unique decor. The food looked very ordinary but was very good. There was a lady making tortillas at a wood-fired stove right to the left of the front door. and the bar is built around a living old tree. Pretty cool. Very reasonable prices and the portions aren't gigantic which is a good thing if you want to stay slender.

This place has pretty decent food. But the prices are outrageous. This is Mexican food. It's not that expensive to make. The atmosphere and service is not five star. There is nothing to justify the high prices. The area could use a good competitor at slightly lower price point to get these guys back in line. They have a corner on the higher end food in the area, and they capitalize.

An established restaurant in Espanola with excellent southwestern dining. I love good chili fare, and this one is tops in my book.

When you are looking for that special local place to have dinner, look no further. This restaurant has been around for ages and is constantly getting great reviews. I know why...I eat there frequently. There have been some nice improvements in recent years and the menu has some new additions as well. One of my favorites is the Fresh Spinach and Pear Salad with a great dressing. Al though is is not on the dinner menu you can still ask for it ( no problem).
This is authentic Norther New Mexican food at it's best. The large parking lot is in the back. Enjoy the house made tortillas made right there on the old wood stove in the entrance. Have a margarita with a touch of pineapple to soothe the spicy guacomole.
Very friendly service! Your gone a love it!

On a trip south in a hurry to avoid going into Santa Fe stopped here for lunch. Food was wonderful...homemade, fresh and unique twist on typical Mexican. Ambiance that of an old adobe built over many years...plus the service was outstanding ! Try the carnitas...
