Beautiful views and nice campsites, but one bathhouse for two of the 3 loops - third loop only has vault toilets - old, stainless steel prison style sinks and toilets, icky push button showers, not terribly clean. I think good reviews are all about the views and from folks who have self contained big rigs. We don't expect lux when camping, but these facilities are just plain awful. Never saw any hosts.

Wish the weather was warmer the month we went - January--. The views are breath taking. From up above looking down is priceless!

We are fulltime RVers, and this was a return trip for us. We were glad to see that the lake is a lot higher than it was when we were here a year ago. We stay in the Lion’s Beach campground on Loop B (first come first serve), with water and electric hookups. Great view of the lake, campsites are level with an awning, picnic table and fire ring. Wi-fi sucks, don’t even try to use it. The vault toilets near the campground are new and fairly clean, but can be buggy on warm days. The showers are warm with good water pressure, but don’t get cleaned as often as they should (ladies, please clean your long hair out of the shower drain before you leave!!). Lots of families and kids on the weekends, but weekdays are quiet and peaceful. Several good places to hike, and lots of boating, paddle boarding, parasailing, etc. We love it here and would gladly visit again.

This place is huge and has several beaches around to go to. You can park your car right up to the water and enjoy the beach. My husband and I were here in the off season, and it wasn't crowded at all. Not sure what it would be like in peak time in the summer. We loved being able to drive on the sand and explore the park. The marina area is massive and the mountain views are gorgeous. They have these little lean-to shelters that are overlooking the beach. We didn't camp here but it made us want too! There are a few restaurants close by and the park made for a great day all around. It's open 24 hrs and is 5 dollars to get in.
