After reading all the reviews, I was curious to experience Orlando's food and restaurant. I picked the Combination Bowl, choosing the green and their red chile with chicken. The bowl was generous in size. Sadly, the consistency was rather watery and the flavor was nothing unique. Their flan is tasty. The place is crowded and if you get seated in the addition, one can get very chilled. The service was quick and friendly. All in all, I was rather underwhelmed and disappointed.

Orlando's New Mexican Cafe is a great spot to have lunch or dinner. It is located is a small building that probably use to be a home. It's atmosphere reflects the charm of New Mexico. The New Mexican food is tasty and reasonably priced. The homemade desserts are very good too. I would definitely eat here again and recommended to my friends.

We were looking for typical New Mexican fare and arrived for a late lunch. The food was served very quickly and everything was excellent. Husband had the chile relleno and I had the enchilada combo plate. The posole was very good. Tea was excellent and glasses were kept full.

We never miss a chance to go to Orlando's for dinner when in Taos. As a matter of fact, on our most recent visit, we ate there two nights out of three! Try anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Food was excellent, authentic, and quickly served....once we got in their. Even though we waited 45 minutes in the outdoor cold, it was a chance to meet new people who were in the same boat. It is a small place, intimate, so small their kitchen couldn't make sopapilas (bummer when visiting the SW). The service was great....just had to get there to be served.
