Amazing! Old hacienda type home patio with umbrella tables nestled in the foot heels. Just a 5min. drive from the square in Taos. Margaritas made from agave Nestor and tamales that are off the hook! The green chili can clear up any cold! Eat here!

Dear, Many Times. Thanks for coming back to Orlandos' . We have such a good following from Texas. And especially from Dallas. Texans always expect it to be different but end up loving it anyway. Make sure to say hi next time . Orlando

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews we read here. We went on a Saturday night, and expected it to be busy, but were a bit surprised to discover that a) there was more than a 30 minute wait for either outside or inside seating, and b) the only waiting area was outside, and half of it uncovered. Since it was only about 55 degrees and threatening to rain, this wasn't ideal. It began to rain hard just as they called us, or we would have left. By the time I got inside, I was wet and cold. We were seated at a small table in the bar, and a family with about a one year old was subsequently seated AT the bar . . . as one might expect at 8:00 at night, the child was cranky and pretty noisy. The food, at the end of all of it, was no better than average, and some of the least inspiring of all the food we've eaten on this trip. I wish we had gone somewhere else.

Dear "HIGH MAINTENANCE". C'mon give us a review on maybe how the service was or maybe the atmosphere or how you have to walk thru the kitchen to get to the restrooms. But not on how long you had to wait outside, during monsoon season(thank god we need as much rain as possible). And how a one year old was too loud. Those are personal problems and have nothing to do with how hard the entire staff is working just to serve food and make a living. Just to let you know without being mean, people in the business call people like you a" Professional Complainer." Orlando.

Just north of Taos in El Prado, Orlando's is worth the ten minute drive. The cafe is located on the main road toward Questa and has ample off street parking. We arrived at 5pm to find a line already formed for the dinner hours. Once open for service, everyone was quickly seated; they have both dinningroom and patio seating. The menu is not overwhelming and what is offered...they do right. Fast courteous service, great food and surprisingly affordable prices. Don't miss this one while in Taos or passing through.

If you want to experience great northern New Mexican cuisine at great prices this is the place to go. We've eaten there at least 4 times in the past year and everything was first rate. The chile (green, red and caribe) are all wonderful. Just go!

Just the place to go for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat. It is small, it is not luxurious, but it IS the place the locals go to eat a quick bite of Mexican food. Try it for lunch, because it fits with the atmosphere of no nonsense food, cheap and plenty of it.
