“Beautiful Canyon”

This is probably the most picturesque canyon in the U.S.
In all seasons, it shows a different side of itself. The Palaceaids Sill is one of the most photographed areas in the canyon. All types of wild life are prevalent in the canyon

“Reserve yourself a camp spot at the cimarron canyon state park, today!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2012

This park offers a winding highway that seem to entrance many a visitor. The park is not just in one location but offers camp sites along the 6 miles of Hwy 64 that goes right through the park. Cimarron River offers fishing as well as Eagle Nest Lake located just 3-4 miles west of the park. I travel through this state park often and there seems to always be campers setting around their camp fires, enjoying our cool summer weather and the beauty of the forest and mountains surrounding them.
