How does a corporate woman make the transition to chief cook, tour-guide, cleaner, and bed-maker...and more? Ask Judith. She (with her husband George) run Sandhill Crane B&B in Corrales, NM, a suburb just north of Albuquerque. While rooms for four sets of guests, we had the place all to ourselves for our five day visit. Judith has "guest service" down pat...her cooking is marvelous, and each breakfast different (she also does special diets to order...just let her know). She knows area well, and is an encyclopedia of information, particularly for some of the lesser known places, such as Sky City Pueblo in Acoma (well worth a visit). Judith is also very active in the Corrales community, so can direct you to any one and any place.
Sandhill Crane is clean, well-maintained (perhaps a little dated, but for laid back Corrales), and a very enjoyable bed and breakfast, with a definite plus for breakfast.
