Following a recent business meeting in Albuquerque my wife and I decided to escape the conference hotel and try something different. Our reading the rave reviews we decided to give the Chocolate Turtle a try.Our past B&B experiences have been less than stellar so we had some trepidation about this one. We can say, however, that the Chocolate Tutle fare exceeded our expectations.
Dallas and Nancy are great hosts. We were the only guests at the B&B for two nights, but we received the full treatment. Both mornings we had full breakfasts that contained a variety of fruits, juices and entrees. Our hosts made sure to provide turkey sausage for my non-meat eating wife. The Road Runner room was big with a great shower. The bed was comfy. We enjoyed the chocoate turtles in our room and the fresh cookies that are always available. We also liked that water, soft drinks and snacks are always handy.
Our hosts were perfect. They have a great sense of when to be present and when you would like some time alone. All in all it was a great visit and one we're sure to repeat.
