Place is always busy, filled with locals and tourists. It's not fancy, don't expect it to be fast. The food is good, nothing fancy. Had the brisket sandwich, came with slices of bread when I was expecting a wheat bun. When it's busy the staff does pretty well, they were always pleasant when we nagged them for more drinks, napkins, plates, etc.
It's a family place, I didn't see that alcohol was available.
Fried pickles and jalapeno/onion sticks were pretty darn tasty. Didn't get a chance to try any of the desserts, wish I had room.
Portions are moderate depending on what you order.
