This place is frequented by our friends and we can see exactly why. Great service which is efficient, friendly and informal. The food is just wonderful, really fresh and local - the beer is too good lol! all in all, it's worth a trip just to try the clam chowder (Friday) really delicious!

I love going to Greenside for a special dinner so I got off work a little early and wanted to check out a different Happy Hour closer to home. We got there at 5:30 and Happy Hour was already over! Really? They have HH from 3 to 5, before the average person even gets off work. So who is going to be there? The bar was empty, so nobody. Oh well, I'll stick to the HH in town.

Wow, that's pretty harsh to say you love coming to the Greenside and then follow up your "excellent" rating with a "poor" one because we don't cater to bar business. We tried for six years to get happy hour business before giving it up last year. Cedar Crest is full of places that cater to bar crowds. We choose to focus on featuring good food and service and leave the discount alcohol to those that want it.

Thanks for the feedback, I will look to the staff to see if we need to look into offering more of a discount at happy hour.

Happy New Year.

Traveling Highway 14 (the Turquoise Trail) we stopped for breakfast at the first restaurant that looked open on the day after Christmas. And what a lucky choice! The Greenside Cafe reminded us of restaurants in New Zealand and Australia - modern decor, pleasant music playing in the background, good service, and outstanding, interesting food choices.

I'll put this cafe on the travel itinerary for our next trip to New Mexico for sure.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Nothing fancy - just good food, good service, and reasonable prices. We went most recently for my wife's birthday (Greenside sends a $5 off coupon every year for your birthday). Her chicken enchiladas were great and my fish and chips were good as well. Over the years, we've had most of their menu items as well as weekly specials and have never been disappointed.
