“Quirky, fun, delicious!”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We just happened to stumble into The Range and we are so glad we did! We enjoyed walking around the restaurant taking it all in. We shared the chicken chipotle wrap which happened to be the special of the day....good choice and definitely enough for two! Being from Indiana, we got a big kick out of the tenderloin ( made just like in Indiana!) This place is a MUST if you are in the area!

“Fantastic food.”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

My husband and I were taken here by his uncle and aunt whilst we were visiting Albuquerque. Its a lovely place, great bright decor and well laid out. The staff are amazingly friendly, our waitress was from NY state and us being from NJ had a little chat. I ordered the english muffin with bacon and avocado and it was delicious! Upon walking in you will see a desert cabinet. Save room for one! I had the brownie sundae and husband had the chocolate cake. The deserts are worth the visit on their own. A great place filled with locals. Well worth the visit.

We chose this stop because we were staying very close to the area. It was such a good choice, with fantastic food & very good waitstaff. Make sure you do not miss this place if you are in the area.

“Hokey, quirky, fun stop between Santa Fe and ABQ”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We heard this was the place to stop between Santa Fe and ABQ, and it was fun. The food was good. I liked the muffin, instead of toast. Mmmmm. Good, coffee! It was $2.29 and kept coming. Kitchen sink omelet was so-so, 10.99. Huevos Rancheros as reported by my partner was just "all right" $8.99. All together with tax, $24.06. All in all, worth a visit. I wished the gift shop had been open.

“high desert desserts”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

This is a landmark restaurant with no pretentious atmosphere and a history of famous patrons. The walls bear witness to the passage of many of our nation's leaders, personalities and celebrities not to mention lots of regular people The ambience and the cuisine are vintage New Mexican. Seating could be more comfortable. Staff is very friendly and kept up with our needs. We had the chicken enchilada($12) - Christmas style with red and green pepper- and taco salad($9 plus another $3 if you want beef or chicken), followed by a chocolate chip cookie. Food was ordinary. The cookie was great. They had a lot of tasty looking desserts which were apparently home made. If we go back we might focus on the desserts. There is a store onsite that is worth the time to explore. Overall for a sense of history and some real New Mexican experience it is worth it to go. The food is filling and the folks are nice.
