We stayed there for 2 nights and were very happy with the room, food and service. The resort is not in town center but there is shuttle bus service to town every day. We were also picked up and sent off to the airport for free. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. There's no air conditioning but there's lots of breeze from the beach in front and the garden at the back. There's no telephone, fridge or TV in the room either but i didn't think it's a disadvantage. This resort is a good place for someone who would like to be close to nature and get away from their normal busy life. Food at the main restaurant was great although it was a bit expensive compared to the food in town. The staff there were very friendly and willing to help you with all your requests.

One thing that i didn't like much at the resort was the beach. Although you can swim and do snorkeling there, there's lots of rock so you must be careful when swimming.

After a frantic 2 weeks of travel across Vietnam it was a real pleasure ti stay with the great folks at Mango Bay. The place is gorgeous. We paid to upgrade to a beachside villa - wow! Doors open at night with sound of waves crashing was simply great. No aircon makes for a hot nights sleep but that's not a problem. Restaurant was brilliant. Overall service could not be faulted and I highly recommend the days snorkelling - best I have ever done.

We had an amazing experience at Mango Bay Resort. Highly recommended - Best quality price ratio!

The Mango Bay's employees make everything to enable you to have have a fantastic time:
- They welcome you at the airport,
- They take care of your bags,
- They give you a word of introduction about the resort at the restaurante and offer you a fresh juice.

The rooms are so romantic and the outdoor bathrooms make you feel like in heaven. In your room you have at your disposal a beach bag with towels. Moreover, the house keeping team makes twice a day your room.

The food (breakfast & dinner) and beverages (cocktails) are excellent. You enjoy it in a really nice surrounding.

Mango Bay Resort was everything I hoped it would be. I can't remember the last time I was in such a beautiful, relaxing location. The staff could not have been friendlier, and while the bungalow I was in (garden view) was small, it was very comfortable, and it was always clean. The beach was lovely, and the spa is remarkable. Would absoluetly return.

We (2 couples) shared the reef house for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The resort has an atmosphere of simple tranquillity, perfect for relaxation. There is no TV or air conditioning, and neither was needed. The rooms have very effective natural ventilation, and the bathrooms are outdoors, which we found very pleasant.

There is a lot of tourism on Phu Quoc, but the setting of Mango Bay is quite remote on a quiet stretch of beach, far away from any crowds. The beach is very picturesque, the only downside being that the afternoon tide brings in quite a lot of rubbish from the nearby town. This is an unfortunate feature of many beaches in Asia and clearly not the resort's fault - in fact the staff make a big effort to clean it up every day.

Service is courteous and unobtrusive, there is an excellent selection of reasonably priced food, and the spa treatments we had were very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We booked a house with beach view and stayed for five nights. The house was equipped with an outdoor bathroom with shower (due to intact nature, one might meet a tokeh or a frog there), a balcony and a small garden. Several additional features were included, e.g. excellent breakfast, towels for the beach, hot water for tea... The wooden house was very clean and has been equipped with a comfortable bed with mosquito net. Instead of air condition, fans are used.

The beach (sand) belonging to the resort was extremely beautiful and invits to swim. The unavoidable plastic garbage was collected by the staff several times per day.

The food in the open air restaurant or the beach club was of excellent taste and quality.

The staff was extremely friendfly and helpful. Fotrunately, they have preserved a very natural way to interact with their guests. Due to good knowledge in english language, conversation was possible and welcome (e.g. during a game of table soccer).

We rented snorkeling equipment (early morning is the best time to do so due to calm seas) and had a great time observing the sea fauna of the resort's riff.

To conclude: Great location, nice houses, friendly staff at reasonable price = best mark!

Room Tip: If possible, book a room with beach view, it's really worth it.

I and my wife have had few very great beach break days after indochina tour at Mango Bay - It's really is a part of heaven...Very nice simply designed bungalow without air conditioning but with two fans and open air bathroom with mini garden is half of success of Mango Bay. Location: not too close to the town enought wild, nice and clean place, not owercowded, perfect food, cute staff... and free WiFi...
+/- part of beachfront has big rocks in the sea- it nice to look and good for snorkeling when sea is peacefull, but must be carefull then swim near that, especially when strong waves at the sea...
- bed matress little too soft.. but it,\'s verry subjective I mean :)

Room Tip: rooms R 01& 02 is too close to the road, and to the kitchen- little noisy...
