Really enjoyed my stay here, just what I needed. A bit off the beaten track but still right next to mango bay which u can use for hiring stuff, spa, or food.

Rooms were large, and hot showers. I just had a fan room which was fine for me. Beach has a few rocks in it but the water is lovely and the view of the sunset from the sun loungers is something special.

It's a bit of a drive into town (9 dollars taxi) but there isn't much to do there anyways, this is a place to relax and enjoy the sea and view :)

We did not stay here because we had already booked at Mango Bay (which we thoroughly enjoyed.) But we had noticed the pretty blue bungalows when we took a walk on the beach and I remembered reading that the food was quite good.
My husband and I had dinner here last night, our last on the island and it was amazing! Actually, we both said it was one of the best meals we have had during our 3 weeks in Vietnam.
Perfectly grilled and seasoned red snapper which was skillfully deboned for us by our adorable server who got to practice her English with us. And a prawn curry in a light coconut broth that was out of this world. We were considering ordering the whole meal again!
With cold Tiger beers (buy 2 the 3rd one's free) it was an absolutely perfect dinner and we were so glad we wandered off the grounds to try it. We were the only ones there, what a crime! If you're staying at Mango Bay you should definitely walk over.
If we return to Phu Quoc we will stay there and enjoy the chef's terrific cuisine.

We stayed here of 5 nights between christmas and new year. The family who run the place are very kind and helpful. The chalet bedroom was large and clean with a super verandah. The food was good too. Would love to go back for longer.

Room Tip: Rooms away from beach are bigger with better views.

Very nice, brand new bungalows, and only about 8 of them so it can never be crowded. The beach is right outside (8-10 meters away). It gets a bit noisy at night with the frogs but we didn't have problems sleeping. No A/C but fans are enough. The rooms are cleaned and the towels changed every day, not the sheets though but who needs that? Staff is friendly enough, service is a bit slow but it is something you'll experience everywhere in Phu Quoc. Their food needs improving, especially since it isn't cheap and vietnamese food can be so delicious! I recommend choosing one of their 3 daily specials as they're much better than the rest. Only other option to eat nearby is the next door Mango Resort which is pricier but of a much higher standard. Motorbikes can be rented from reception for 12$ a day and the town of Duong Dong is only around 15 minutes away. Although part of the way is dust roads, it's easy to drive even at night.
Amazing sunset!

We stayed at Blue Sea in March 2013 and were really impressed with what we got for our money. The bungalows were clean, decent size and really comfortable and although there was no aircon the fans were fine. Location right on the beach was perfect and the restaurant and sun loungers are well set up- only 15 second walk from our bungalow. There aren't loads if facilities but right on the beach you don't need a pool. The fact that Mango Bay is just next door is also a real bonus- great for a massage and the food there was excellent although more expensive than blue sea. Staff were very helpful and although we didn't have anything we needed help with check in and check out was efficient and there was always someone around to ask a question of. Would definitely go back if I was in Phu Quoc again

We went to blue sea resort in autumn 2012 and enjoyed the stay very, very much.
Food and staff are great and we would go there every time again. It was hard to leave, because people were so nice. We enjoyed the beach and the sunset!

Mr. King teached us to speak vietnamnese and we ate "really" vietnamnese food with the staff. A place for relaxed holidays!
Every time again.

We were welcomed by Mister King who is the best host I encountered during my backpack in Asia.
We ended drinking Vietnamese Rhum with the staff, and they let us use the kitchen to cook a meal for them.
We had the chance to find this place only a few time after they opened, and I just hope they will keep the same warm contact with their customers.
Mr King, if you read this, please know that we often we think about you and your team ... from Sydney.
