This place had the best food we ate in Phu Quoc, as well as being in a great beach location. Prices were also very good. Calamari was excellent, as were all of the other dishes we ordered. Only down side was that it was crazy busy, and quite noisy, so not necessarily the best place to have a relaxing drink on the beach. Relaxed backpacker drinking vibe as the evening progressed. Service was slow (easiest to just go to the counter to order.) Excellent prices.

We came here almost every day we were in Phu Quoc, except during the days they were closed for Tet (Lunar New Year). The staff are friendly, the food is good, and the prices are not crazy. The music is also good.

The real deal is the whole steamed fish, which was better than any fish I'd had on the island (including the night market) and came with plenty of vegetables, rice, and was only 150 000 dong ($7.50). If you ordered that with one other dish and shared with a friend, you could easily have lunch/dinner for less than 15 dollars with drinks included.

The morning glory was also very good, as were the fried noodles with seafood. All the seafood chunks were huge, and well seasoned. We also had the fish curry at one point which was a great deal - huge bowl!

The place is laid back and reasonably priced indeed. A bonus is that they carry other types of wines apart from the local "Dalat" wine that everyone else does - the Hardy's Sauv. Blanc was a little more (at 110000/glass) but worth it as it is tasty!

The fresh spring rolls are also tasty, as is the grilled squid. I don't really have much to say negative about this place... some might find the service slow, but they do tend to get busy at lunch (we even saw some people gently fighting over tables), so get there before 12:30 if you don't want to worry about waiting for a table.

We landed in Phu Quoc not knowing much about the Island and luckily got chatting to Greg at the airport!
We booked the trip last minute so we were planning on booking accommodation on arrival.
Greg offered us a lift to Long Beach and we landed at Phuong Binh House.
Sadly all of their bungalows were booked as they are very popular!
This is a family run restaurant, Bich is amazing! They let us leave our bags behind the bar while we hunted along the beach for accommodation. We found a bungalow not far from the restaurant and ended up having lunch and dinner here every day! It has a really chilled vibe and a great place to meet people chatting over a few beers.
Greg plays great music every evening too!
The food is fantastic, my boyfriend is a big meat eater and myself a vegetarian and there was a big selection for both of us. The hot pots are out of this world...a must try!
On the last day my boyfriend left his favourite pair of shorts drying on a chair at the restaurant before we jumped in a taxi to the airport. He's had these shorts for years & bought them years ago travelling in Thailand. I sent Bich a message on our return to see if they had been handed in, they had and she offered to post them back to us! Considering how hard these guys work I was surprised she even had time to reply to my message besides post them back. Excellent service!
If you are visiting Phu Quoc I highly recommend visiting Phuong Binh House, I can’t wait to return!
Special thank you to Greg & Bich, you made our trip one to remember.

This quiet , relaxed shack on the beach is a cool place . The view is terrific . Just sit there and watch time pass by . Enjoy your drinks and cocktails . Order your food at leisure . Best place to be in the afternoon . The food is good . Make sure you point out the number on the menu and they have understood what you want .
