If you want to eat very average, relatively expensive seafood with a load of tourists I suggest you come here!
There is not atmosphere and all the restaurants are the same.
We ate here on our first night following the lonely planet but would not eat there again. There are much nicer restaurants in Duong Dong so my advice would be to stay away from this tourist trap.

It's hard to give a specific review because there are so many vendors along this street. It's worth a visit for the range of fresh (ish)seafood on display.

But be warned - make sure your shellfish is alive before being cooked - I heard multiple accounts of bad results from locals and visitors who'd been served old seafood.

Our lobster (Whole, barbecued, USD$30) wasn't the freshest around. The fish was good.

Prices are really expensive for Vietnam, but cheap compared to most other places.

it's a market street with lots of seats for fresh fish you choose from the table, most prawns, lobsters, shell fish, king fish.. not much vegetables and choice of other meals, so you must like fish and crowded places.

Tried the night market on the first night of a five nighter in Long Beach. We returned two further times and loved every visit. The first night we enjoyed a monster Lobster grilled on the open flames along with some prawns (not so shrimpy!) and some fresh greens stir fried. Next.... We call them 'banana prawns' in Australia - they're enormous!!! About AUD$5 for six as an entree and then on to some Pho for main which was the best Beef broth and the best Chicken broth I've ever had! Well worth a visit for some cold beers and sensational seafood!

The food is good, the fish are well cooked, the seasonings are delicious but the prices are TRIPLE then what we were used to pay in Vietnam.

You could have lobsters and tiger prawns for half price in Nha Trang and Mui Ne. No joke!! Half price...

The market is perfect for people staying at big resorts for a week and going back to work but definitly not for the backpackers!!!!!
