“Fish Curry!!”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Really good quality food at very reasonable prices. The owner is a very nice woman with good English. Anything we tried there was very tasty.

“Great Restaurant - worth the trip out of town.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We went in search of Sokura having read the reviews on TA and it was worth the trip. The restaurant is to the North of Duong Dong down the turning for "Bo Resort". The service was very good and the place is run by a lovely lady with an interesting history. The food was fresh and tasty; the portions are large and great value. We went twice and had a variety of dishes but would particularly recommend the whole fish with some Morning Glory.

“the best on the island”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

lovely restaurant off the beaten path run by a wonderful woman. the food is great and authentic (the morning glory is amazing), and the price as well. portions maybe a bit too much on the large side as throwing away food is never fun. but anyways, will go back many times. best in phu quoc.

“Cracking Food”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Really enjoyable food at very reasonable prices compared to most on the island. 1 small quibble, fried rice with mixed seafood was COVERED in pepper (which I hate) so left it completely. So far the only place I've eaten in that put pepper on rice so wasn't prepared to ask without but had I known, sure it could've been left off! Other than that, the shrimp spring rolls are literally the nicest I've ever had and would go back for those alone! We had the pork in fish sauce in clay pot which was devine! Also had chicken fried noodles, not stand out to be honest but ok. Still the best food by far we've had on Phu Quoc, well worth visiting and will most likely go back!

“Best dish in Vietnam”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

In one of the most random locations I have ever been, literally feels like you are eating in the middle of the jungle!

i guess amplified for us as the electricity had gone out on the island so we ate under candle light - perfect for the honeymoon!!

Just go there and order the Lemon Grass & Chilli Snapper and then come back on here and tell everyone else to do the same - it is amazing!! Perfectly cooked and so fresh and pretty sure it was about $5AUD - but was both our favourite dish of the whole 3 week trip around Vietnam.
