Nice hotel for the price. Rooms are clean, bed has a net again moskitos and the bathroom is good.
You can have massages and as we staid 4 nights foot massages were offered.

The beach is @ 10meters and the restaurant has a evening barbecue with delicious seafood.

Enjoyed four nights here. For the price, we felt the owners could be reinvesting a little more back into the rooms and property. Our Garden View room (which was more of a laundry room view...) was adequate, with good cooling and decent hot water. The opaque windows were unsecured, so we had to leave our valuables at the front desk.
The massage services are great. Even at a 50% mark up over similar massages elsewhere in Vietnam, the setting and expertise of the staff is worth it. Not really the kind of spa environment that many guests might be expecting, but an relaxing and informal .
We enjoyed the beach-front restaurant - the food was consistently good and the staff is really delightful.
This is a well-located, small scale property and a good choice on Long Beach.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroom was very different but still had modern fittings. The service was good, although english wasn't their strong point so communication was difficult at times. We were there during low season and a big storm had recently swept through the island which meant the surroundings weren't as pretty as they could have been. Otherwise, we had a good stay and the vietnamese massage was incredible and very reasonably priced. The location was great, with many places to eat on the main street just minutes walking distance.

This is a lovely place, we stayed in a beach side cabin and it was perfect, the included breakfast is from a menu and so delicious and fresh.

The Wifi connection does not work in the cabins, but is available in the restaurant area.

Room Tip: Garden and beach front are the best but as this is close to the beach any room would be fine.

Somehow, destiny leads me to Phu Quoc Island again. This time, I was being invited by the Civil Aviation Authorities to the opening of their International Airport on 15December 2012.

I also took the maiden direct (non stop) flight on Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi to Phu Quoc on 12th December and landed at the brand new airport. Nothing much to brag about, after waiting for 7long years to complete but the stay at Mai Spa Resort was something to talk about.

They now have 21 chalets as compared to 9 when they first started and during this season, all meals are served by the beach front and the photos simply tell the rest.

As I have reviewed on this property before, I give it tops for the changes and improvements made. A good 4nights on this resort - eating, drinking and filled with pure relaxation with their massages? I will still do it again................

Room Tip: the beach front chalets are real value for money as shown in the picture taken from the 2nd floor ba...

Doesn't really have a strong spa or resort feel but I prefer a lower key place anyway, so not a problem. The room was okay, nothing to write home about but good sized, and quiet. The bed left a great deal to be desired and the one massage I had was overpriced and unskilled. I would definitely recommend this place as an option but recommend trying other spots first. Location on the beach was lovely, and location for walk-ability was great as well. The restaurant and breakfast were fine but nothing special. Service was quite good and made up for what was lacking in maintenance and ambiance of the grounds

When we arrived we were blown away by how friendly the staff were and what a great view we had from the room. The beach outside the hotel was perfect, and the massages at the Spa were the best I had in Vietnam. I can’t help but feel it was a bit overpriced for what it was though. The rooms were nice enough, clean and simple, but nothing special. I could feel the springs in the bed, and the little finishing touches like a kettle for tea and coffee or a minibar weren’t there. I don’t mind things like this usually, but it was the most expensive place we stayed in and we got more from other places we stayed that were half the price. However don’t let this discourage you from staying here, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the restaurant serves great food and the massages are top notch. Just don’t expect complete luxury!

Room Tip: Sea view room offers a fantastic view but we were in room 15 and there were serious gaps in the door...
