Description: This is a fabulous, newly opened restuarant along the main road in Duong Dong, near the beach and many resorts. The food is all homemade, including the warm bread and jam! While we stayed in Phu Quoc, we noticed that many customers, including my wife and I, came back to this delightful place more than once. The Swedish owners and Vietnamese staff are friendly and welcoming and will do all they can to make your stay on the island a memorable one.

Beautiful food, great service... Only thing is the prices definitely do not reflect portion size, but that is due to western ownership! Must remember that you can't charge the same prices here as you would at home... Isn't that partly the point of going away ?

“Breakfast not worth it. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2014 via mobile

Went for breakfast one morning, it was expensive for what it was. The fresh baguette appeared more like defrosted bread. The rest of the breakfast was also distinctly average, especially considering the price.

On the other hand, the service was very good. We did consider it for an evening meal previously and have to say that the tapas did look very good and I think the number of people eating here probably says something about the quality!

I'd try the tapas menu but give the breakfast a miss.

“Excellent tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014 via mobile

We decided on the tapas and ordered six dishes for the two of us. The dishes were all incredibly tasty. The restaurant had a very chilled vibe with great laid back music. For the six tapas dishes, 2 glasses of wine and a beer , the bill came to 33 dollars. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

“Prices actually match the quality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

This is likely to be the only spot on the island actually worth a splurge. Obviously, you'll pay for the fact that they have to import practically everything, etc, but the service is attentive and speak functional English, the place is small enough that you'll have your food on the table in less than 30 minutes, and some of their tapas are indeed quite tasty. For Phu Quoc's restaurant scene, each of the above is already a small miracle in and of itself.

In response to ZGtrips' criticism below...I would say that tapas are supposed to brought out piecemeal (and shared). I did not find ANY of their dishes to be bland. Some needed a bit of salt for our taste, but that can be expected and dealt with quickly.

All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone venturing away from the night market and willing to spend a 2x more for 3x the quality. It is far above its neighbors on the strip.
