Description: This is a fabulous, newly opened restuarant along the main road in Duong Dong, near the beach and many resorts. The food is all homemade, including the warm bread and jam! While we stayed in Phu Quoc, we noticed that many customers, including my wife and I, came back to this delightful place more than once. The Swedish owners and Vietnamese staff are friendly and welcoming and will do all they can to make your stay on the island a memorable one.

We ate here four or five times during our visit to Pho Quoc and sampled quite a bit of the menu. Having eaten mostly Vietnamese food for the previous five weeks, we were very happy to have some affordable and tasty western fare. The falafal were greasy and bland, but everything else was quite wonderful. The chorizo with cherry tomatoes was particularly rich and tasty (and a quite generous serving.) The bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese were lovely. The bacon wasn't too crispy, but the flavor was wonderful. The couscous salad with chorizo and feta was filling and had many great flavors and textures. When I ordered the meatballs with mashed potatoes, they were out of beef and made lamb meatballs instead which were exceptional. All this was served with a smooth and rich cream sauce. My favorite was the Mondo Madness sandwich. Probably the best western sandwich I have had in Vietnam--even better than the sandwiches at Dingo Deli in Hoi An.
Both their drip coffee and Vietnamese coffees were strong and delicious. They also serve some European beers which were a great break from all the light Vietnamese pilsners we had been drinking. Their wines by the glass were quite fine and affordable.
Best of all, their service has been unparalleled. The staff are quick and courteous. Some speak better English than others, but all are quite able to facilitate a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

very nice tapas!
one disadvantage: when ordering a glass of wine you get one third. lovely tuna salad, delicious garlic prawns and a refreshing tuna salad. nice rose wine at 45000dong. very Spanish style to charge you for bread which were 4tiny slices...

Great drink selection, great menu (whether for breakfast lunch or dinner) and great staff (whether the owners are in or the locals are running the show). Best place on phu quoc with the haloumi tapas dish being the personal go-to dish on a number of occasions!

Service was good and the menu was diverse. We like our dishes as we ate there twice for lunch though we thought the prices were just q bit steep which is why the very good rating was dropped to average. We did go there twice however!

...well, after a long time in Vietnam, we were more than happy to get the taste of Mondos awsome tapas. Our favourites gambas ajillo, chorizo and "wrapped dates" made us come back many times. Must not forget to mention the breakfast menu, which is one of the best on the island. This is one of those special places where you feel that the owners really love food.
Highly recommended!
