Guesthouse is excellent. Very big room with balcony and mosquito screens on windows.

It is very clean place with very comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

You cannot book any tickets here you have to go to station. Tuk tuk ride to train/bus station cost 50 baht.

We stayed at Sansabai House for 2 nights after having checked out of another AWFUL hotel. We didn't have a booking, we just fronted up and they only had a fan room available initially (300 baht). When we came back at check-in time (midday) they had come up with an aircon room for us (550 baht) which was just excellent. The room was a good size with twin beds with very comfortable mattresses and good quality sheets and bedcovers. The beds, wardrobe and dressing table were matching in nice dark wood and there was also a little table with 2 stools where you could sit and have a drink etc. There was a large TV and a fridge with water provided daily. The shower had great pressure, plenty of hot water and towels and soap were provided. The room was absolutely immaculately clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. You can buy drinks at very reasonable prices from a fridge in the lobby. The location is great right in the middle of town within walking distance to everything. Bus Station 1 is just around the corner, you need to get a tuk tuk to Bus Station 2 (for buses to Pimai). Highly recommended - we were so very happy with this guesthouse. If you turn left out the front door on the next corner is a little café which does a good breakfast.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet, the front of the hotel is on a busier street...

stayed here twize whilst passing through; the owners speak good english and helpful. i get the fan rooms as i find them better, get a top floor room as well. if coming from bus station 2 take a taki and make sure they know sansabi house near bus station 1 as there is another hotel miles away with a similar name. cost is circa 50 bhat. great spot for street food with a decent 7 11 on the corner. low frills hotel however this is expected for 300 bhat per night. if you want night life, ask them to order a taxi to sri ratna and there are 4 decent bars there, (i always walked there and got taxi back so take there business card so they can read it in thai) do not expect many farangs! great spot for days trips to phimai historical park which is a good - if this place is full head to sakol hotel on asadrang road - khorat is a great place once you know it,.

I stayed at Sansabai House in February, 2013, and had a pleasant experience. Most people in Nakhon Ratchasima speak very limited English but are very friendly, and the hotel staff were the same. The first night I stayed in a standard air conditioned room for 450B because no fan rooms were available. I stayed in a fan room the following night for 300B and preferred this room as it had a better view (of the city instead of a wall) and was exactly the same as the air-con room, just without air-con. I had to supply toilet paper in both rooms but the hotel supplied one bottle of water in each room. The first room was on the fourth floor (60 stairs up) and the fan room on the fifth floor (80 stairs up). No elevator and no offer to help carry my heavy backpack and other bags. The rooms were very clean and tidy and wifi worked fine in both rooms. It is close to the bus stops and there are a few restaurants and 7/11 within a 100m radius of the hotel. I would stay again as it was good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a fan room at the back of the hotel, facing away from the street (better view). The fan room...

We stayed for 3 nights in jan 2013.
We paid 550 bht for a twin room, with air con and fan.tv with good channels, fridge ,and private bathroom.the wifi in room worked really well.
We had come to khorat to go to phimai and to start travelling round issan .this guesthouse was a really great start to our journey.it is easy to see why its no 1 on tripadvisor.
The rooms are really well set up.good beds and aircon, nice furnishiings and decorations and all kept really clean.you can tell that the whole place is well run and cared for.its also just a short walk from the intown bus statiion where some of the bangkok buses will stop.
Not much english is spoken in issan , so its a chance to try to learn some thai , so the hotel wrote down things in thai for us when we went to the bus station.the bus to phimai (pee-my) leaves from.the out of town bus station, and the driver will drop you right outside the historical park. Getting back from phimai just wait near the clock tower and most buses seem to stop in khorat.
A few doors down from the guesthouse , right on the corner , is a really great little restaurant.it does western breakfasts, steaks and really good value thai food .but theres lots good street food to.
Overall khorat is a nice town , and its fascinating to see the thai people making offerings to the statue of YAMO , right in the heart of the city.the people are very friendly and its easy to spend a few days here.

I have stayed at 4 different hotels in Korat and this was definitely the best. Not only were the staff very friendly, but the place has a very homely feel to it. I paid 300 Baht a night for a fan room and had no problems with it. The interior of the whole building is very nice and very relaxing. You have free wifi and even though I was on the top floor, the signal was very good. I didn't have one single problem during my stay here. If you are coming to visit Korat, then I would definitely recommend Sansabai House,

This is a very centrally located hotel in Khorat. The rooms are average but very clean. Bath is average. Each room has TV and Fridge. Cleaning is excellent. Staff is very attentive. Secure parking in gated private lot at the rear of the hotel. They do sell out, so get there early.
