Staff is funny and friendly, the room is clean, they have a pool as well but crowdy with kids from around plus the breakfast is tasty..... the hotel is well located and you can explore the city center easily by walking around and see a Thailand like in the former days.... beside a lot of traffic the city have a good vibration and go it´s own silent way.

And there is a secret just right in the back of the hotel.... the big and huge farm market, definitely a must see stroling around enjoy the scenery and have fun with the people.

Room Tip: The city itself is not the real hotspot you need to see before you die, but it´s a nice city where y...

Stayed here one night due to heavy traffic to the north east. I was sick of driving and it was the first hotel we noticed.

My first honest views was that this hotel would have been good in the day, but it isn't 1989 any more. The room was very old and dated. The old funky light switches didn't work anymore in the wood grain laminex bedside table. The room smelt like sewerage at one point and the corridor worse. Things were broken and it wasn't clean. TV worked OK. Staff were OK but nothing to write home about. Wanted a double bed but were told they only had twins.

On that night the restaurant had a type of karaoke going on which was enjoyable. The menu was quite extensive with good prices and what was ordered was quite tasty. Get your 20% discount by going to the front desk of the hotel first and getting a voucher. Didn't seem to include the beers though.Get your voucher for the breakfast too. Breakfast buffet was limited but satisfactory.

I don't really care where I lay my head, but I have stayed in better hotels in Thailand for less. If I was planning a home base in this region, I would probably give this place a miss.

We stayed 2 days in a great room for 1500 baht (suite A),very spacious, and a smaller room for 800 baht.Hotel has swimming pool and The location is good, close to the Mall,a big shopping center.
Bad experience with the restaurant bill; The second evening they told us there was a discount of 20% on the restaurant bill if you had a room in the hotel. When we tried to claim our discount for the first evening reception staff blaimed restaurant staff and vice versa;even after a lot of discussion we had to pay for their mistake, which cost me 800 baht.I never go back again, for the same price there are better hotels in Korat (e.g.nearby ,the City Park Hotel etc.)

Room Tip: Suite A was very spacious, view on a sidestreet and more quiet (1500baht)

Remember you are paying 750Baht for bed and breakfast. Average room, average breakfast, average pool. The staff are as friendly as you are. I have been comming here for 10years and found the staff to be very friendly. The cleaning staff will do anything if yoy ask them. The secret is yo ask them and not the front desk. Leave a small tipo every day and you will get anything you want. Internet is very slow but works. Remember you are paying 750baht.Room service is very good and the meals are very good. A very handy location. The beds are too hard and something needs to be done to rectify this problem. Overall value for money.

Room Tip: Family room at 1500 baht is good value for money if you want more room.Couch and seperate sleeping a...

700 baht a night and not worth it based on our stay last week. Room 304 has a rock hard bed, two bath towels which were older, thread bare and thin, two little bars of soap, one very small bottle of blue mystery shampoo. No hand towels, no wash cloths, and the front desk staff said 5 minutes to send any more towels even though I was very polite and spoke to them face to face. My wife phoned the front desk and spoke Thai and they still said five minutes but never came with towels. Flat screen 32" TV big deal if the a/c unit is loud. The shower head was broken and would not stay up on the shower head holder. Plainly it was broken. I spoke in person to the front desk staff and they said that engineering would come in the morning but no staff person could fi it that evening. The hotel was sold out so they could not switch our room. We checked out at 7a.m. vowing to never return. Korat has plenty of other well located hotels in the same price range, maybe 800 baht, but your experience will be much better than the K.S. Pavillion. No in room safe, no hair dryer, VERY low end door lock, not at all up to modern Thailand hotel standards, even in this price range for this province.

K.S. is very handy to the 'Mall' and to the bus station north and train station.

The hotel has had a bit of an upgrade in the rooms with huge plasma tv's and pretty good beds.

A buffet is included in the 700 baht price so that is a real bonus.

You have a decent pool and a small sports club.

Internet in the room is charged on an hourly rate but there is an internet shop for peanuts around the corner.

K.S. offers value for your money.

Room Tip: Take a room not facing the main highway for less noise.
