This place is great value, and especially so compared to others in the vicinity. There is a range of prices from B500 to B1200, we stayed in the B500 ones and they were great: clean and comfortable, and by paying more you can get hot water and other facilities. Staff are v. friendly but don't speak that much English (but more than enough to get by), which is part of the attraction. Nai Phlao beach is quiet - not the place to come for a party. The beach is fantastic, with hardly anyone else there. The club sandwiches are tasty.

Next door, One More Beer pub had loads of travel info, and rents bikes, scooters etc. They are friendly too, and have a big bar which does a good variety of food.
