Our first-rated activity in subic thru all-in voucher we bought on a travel expo in manila, kidz/spouse/parents enjoyed it thumbs-up compared to the other 2 activity. Arrived 11am on a sunday, early for the 2pm trekking sched so we all (2adults, 2kids, 2seniorcit) did the canopy walk, a calming 1st activity to slowly ease the tension of being way up high. Going down from one big tree to another really helped us gain our confidence on heights since the motorized ride took us slowly with a smile while we swayed from left to right grasping the view of the whole forest. Took our not-so-sumptuous lunch in their resto, grilled pork is little bit hard to chew but we all love the fried tilapia. We did the free-fall next, it was hilarious for all of us even wifey (afraid of heights) just in time for the trekking to start where the kids especially love the information they got from our guide, plant names, survival methods, herbal forest medicines/remedies, drinking clean water from bamboo, in fact we brought the bamboo shots ready for planting and of course the spoon/fork and custom made drinking cup bamboo style. The REAL HIGHLIGHT of the activity that made it a FIRST-RATING was the superman zip-ride where even my parents (senior citizens) did it with soooo much fun and of course the "mission impossible" tree rappeling/tree drop, in fact we (me and My kids aged 9y.o.) did the tree drop twice even if it was starting to drizzle in lieu of the upgrading of the silver surfer ride which was un-available during our visit. SOOOO MUCH FFFFUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!

I heard about this activity and I looked it up on it's website www.treetopadventureph.com/subic/subic-home.html.

The best time to come is in the morning. We arrived just before 10am and was able to catch up with the group going on the (basic) Tree Top Adventure package. This consists of first walking through the rainforest with guides who will describe the various plant life around. Then we were given a taste of living in this environment as one of the guides described how they use the bamboo for eating utensils and for making fire. This took approximately an hour. For another hour, we took the Canopy Ride, which consisted of two halves; a walk over four suspension bridges and then the four rides wherein you hang over the trees which are from 40 to 80 feet beneath the rider. You may take either of the activities first but I suggest walking first. During this activity, you will notice how conscious they are about safety as all participants are required to wear the appropriate harness and helmet and that you are hooked to the safety lines at all times. We also observed their environmental awareness as they used clamps to fasten the structures to the trees instead of drilling holes.

There are other rides, like the Superman Ride, which my wife and daughter went on. For around ten seconds, you are suspended horizontally 100 feet above the rain-forest floor and are hurtled forward then backward. The time-frame actually is lacking as the participant will want more; but you will have to pay again for the activity. I thought the canopy ride was scarier because it was slower and you could visibly discern how deep it was below.

Please do not arrange your program thru the clarksubicmarketing website. They will not provide all the information and will tell you that you can only pay in cash (without providing a receipt if you do not ask for one). It is best to go straight to the site and pay directly to the cashier.

The only adventure was trying to actually get on a zipline. There were large, poorly organized crowds and the "adventure" was boring. It's also out of town, so you would need to have your own transportation.

We arrived later in the afternoon already and it was drizzling so we weren't able to get to do the other activities. It was really fun. Cant wait to get back here. They are building their 200m zipline.
