Good for: Scenic view
Description: Dock of the Bay Restaurant on the water front, nostalgic and sophisticated venue has a contemporary ambiance and serves International Ala-cart. Completely outdoor seating restaurant, and should be taken advantage of the Seafront Bar and Grill overlooking the exceptional Baloy long beach. A serene venue for the guest to enjoy a relaxing with family and friends, breathtaking view of the seafront. Great food, exquisite setting and world class presentation.

Always difficult when places change hands. What you see today may not be what the new guys want for the future. In the case of Sheavens, this was certainly true. The place was extremely tired and in need of huge expense to bring it up to date. Rooms were very sparse, dimly lit and the air-con didn't work. Swimming pool was out of action when we stayed. Also worth noting that this is NOT a beach resort. It fronts the sea, that is true, but it does not have a beach. I wish the new owners the very best of luck, but they do have a lot to do!

After being recommended to us for dinner we went but were sorely disapointed. It was recommended for the Indian cuisine but there was not alot of selection and the tandoori mutton that was ordered would embarrass any proud Indian chef. While my steak was nicely cooked, a pepper sauce needs peppercorns in it not pepper powder for flavor. The setting was very nice but service was a little slow due to too few staff on duty. I won't be going back.

I would say you would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in pilipines. Everything about the hotel is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. In particular the STAFF are extremely friendly and the rooms are perfect.
