We had to book into somewhere in Angeles due to a flight out from Clark at 6:30am - Tune Hotel is cheap, clean and great value for money. On check-in the reception desk will give you a key-card and a towel pack with shampoo and soap. The rooms are (I assume) all the same - we had one with a double bed, air-con and an en suite shower-room. All very clean and fresh. We were on the seventh floor at the front of the building but that's not a problem - the street-noise didn't carry through the double-glazing. The reception staff were helpful with buses from Dau to Manila and with a taxi (Php350) to the airport (some sort of Mafia monopoly). There's a 7/11 below with 1L red horse for Php70 and cheap meals and a good restaurant just next door. There are a few good-humoured touts tying to sell sunglasses, belts, wallets and machetes (yes - machetes) nearby - we didn't venture much further afield because of time and reputation. If we had to fly into or out of Clark again, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

One night stay here. Loved the fresh clean bed sheet n towels. The floor was dirty, seems they didnt bother to mop it. It is tiled n not carpeted. The toilet is small n it got flood upon 5mins of shower. It's worth the money.
Travelling from SM mall to hotel by tricycle cost p150 after 10pm. Such a rip off for a 7mins journey. Short distance of 700m by tricycle cost p50. Please take jeepney instead, only cost p8.
Ppl in Los Angeles area r rude n aggressive by nature. When I ask question/directions, the tell you with no eye contact n cold body language. Tht goes d same for the front office in tunes hotel n the 7-11 cashier who pass loud remarks to his friends when we gave a 1000p on our groceries due to lack of small change.
My trip to Clark was unpleasant. Ppl look shrewd even in jeepneys. Looking forward for pangasinan, dagupan n their friendly ppl.

If you visit Angeles City and are unaware of it's reputation you'll quickly learn that it is a town built on prostitution where tourists are seen as easy pickings for local thieves. Travelling as a couple we didn't dare go out after 8pm and we were glad to see an armed guard covers this hotel in the evenings. In fact armed guards (we're talking shot guns and automatics here) cover most hotels, bars and even convenience stores in Angeles. Given the fact we spent a lot of time in our room we were glad to find this hotel which is newly built, very clean and the rooms well equipped with flat screen tv's, aircon, nice bathrooms etc. it's very modern with key cards that operate the lifts, Wifi thats really good and beds that are nice and comfy. The rooms are slightly small as you tend to find with most new builds, but the cleanliness and facilities more than make up for it. You also get to keep the towel bag, presumably as a souvenir for surviving your stay in Angeles.

Stayed here for one night after arriving into Clark airport at approx. 4pm. We got a taxi from the counter at the airport and then got to our hotel approx. 15 minutes later. The ATM at the airport wasn’t working but the driver took us to an ATM before dropping us off at our hotel. The hotel seems to be on a strip of shops/bars/restaurants which are quite ‘seedy’. Lots of bars with girls hanging outside. However the hotel doesn’t feel seedy at all – there is good security here and a 24 reception. The rooms at the hotel were small but modern and very clean. You have to pay for any extras such as TV channels etc but we didn’t bother with anything apart from the room and air-con. The room also had a safe. Despite this hotel being on a fairly busy road, we didn’t hear much road noise. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot and powerful. In comparison to other hotels/accomm in the Philippines I didn’t find that the reception staff were especially helpful or friendly – we asked a couple of questions about the local area but they didn’t seem too bothered to go out of their way to help answer questions etc. They did however help us organise early morning transport for our early flight out of Clark. I would say the hotel overall is good value for money – it’s safe and clean and I’d stay here again if I came back to this area.

The hotel is located close to the airport and therefore perfect for transit passengers who have to wait for their next flight. The rooms are fair priced and clean but quite small and extremely noisy. One cause is the mainroad in front of the building the other are shouting people who come and go during the whole night. If do not sleep deeply this can be very annoying!

I had stayed at the Tune Hotel, Ermita for 3 days earlier and was fully satisfied. No complain at all. The room rate that I paid was extremely cheap too. The same goes for Tune Hotel at Angeles City. Every Tune Hotels have the same layout and quality standard. The room is very basic and small but comfortable. The room was very well maintained and spotless clean. In Philippines, hotels preferred to use box type air conditioned instead of the split type. I do not know why! Nevertheless, it is still very cold but slightly noisier. Plenty of hot water showers and good water pressure too. Equipped with a flat TV with many movie channels but you need to purchase by the days. The staffs are all tentative, efficient and very friendly. When I asked for a connecting room with my children, they gladly comply with my request. Wifi signal is very strong inside the room.
It's strategically located along Don Juico Ave. and around 2km to SM Clark shopping mall. Close to the airport and along the road there are many bars, KTVs and restaurants. Transportation is not a problem as jeepneys need to pass the hotel every 30 seconds or so. The fare is P8/ride to Friendship Gate jeepney terminal (moving towards right hand side from the hotel entrance). Once you reach the Friendship Gate terminal, walk towards the back of the terminal. Cross 2 highway roads and you will get to SM Clark shopping complex where you can do your shopping and eat at the many available restaurants / fast food or hawker centres. Basically this newly build budget hotel is the best you can currently find in Angeles City. You can save on the room rate but splurge on other thing such as meals and shopping. It is also a good base to do day tour to Mt. Pinatubo and Subic Bay.
