Description: Popular restaurant in Clark Pampanga among Philippines foodies and wine lovers, YATS Restaurant was built in the year 2000 as a fine-dining restaurant of the YATS International Wine Club which is a membership club servicing the social and business needs of Clark Pampanga, Angeles City, Subic and neighboring communities north of Manila. This 80-seat restaurant in Clark Pampanga is open everyday for lunch and dinner. It also served as a venue of choice for everyday business and social dinners as well as celebrations and small business gatherings. As a restaurant, YATS focuses squarely on achieving consistency at a level very near to perfection. This is totally driven by a singular pursuit to deliver outstanding value for money to patrons. YATS Restaurant operates under a simple no-nonsense motto that the proper way to reward a guest is to repay him/her with products and services worth twice of what was paid to us. The combination of value and quality places Yats on the top of the list of restaurants in Clark Pampanga. Cuisine The main cuisine of this restaurant in Clark Pampanga can be characterized as French Mediterranean, classic fine dining without a lot of hype and gimmicks. Only the best ingredients are used and focus is always on bringing the best out of them in every dish of the meal. Moreover, the recipes are carefully designed to pair well with fine wines from the wine cellars of this restaurant in Pampanga. Noted by Manila food and wine lovers for its wine-sensitive cuisines, this restaurant in Clark Pampanga spares no expenses to source the best ingredients from all over the world. Regarded by Manila wine lovers as the premier wine-sensitive restaurant in Philippines, this is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants to enjoy a good bottle of wine at reasonable prices. Wine Being a wine-sensitive restaurant, the philosophy on wine is simple at this restaurant in Clark Pampanga . For starters the role of a wine cellar in a restaurant differs from the role of a wine shop. Wines from a shop are intended to be drunk young or for the serious bottles, laid down for several years before consumption. No guest stays several years in a restaurant waiting for the wine he ordered to age before opening. A restaurant should only serve wines that are properly aged and ripe for enjoyment. The selection of wines at this restaurant in Clark Pampanga has to be broad enough to allow for all kinds of food-wine-pairing requirements. With over 2500 selections at its disposal, the sommelier can be very precise in pairing the right wine with each dish. With over 2500 lines on a wine list of this restaurant in Clark Pampanga, even the most fastidious palates can be satisfied. YATS Wine list is put together not only with a great deal of care but special efforts went into making sure the prices are very competitive. All in all, YATS Restaurant is designed for anyone and everyone who simply want to have a memorable time dining in a nice restaurant that offers good food, fine wine and a good place to enjoy them with friends and family.

We were surprised to see a sign outside from Wine Spectator saying that Yats was one of the top wine restaurants in the world, but indeed once inside it was confirmed with the waiter that indeed they do have a vast cellar and some very fine specimens if you have the wallet!

We had Ceasar salad to start which was just ok, then a beef stroganoff which was below average and served at Filipino room temperature which meant it was cold by the time you got to the last few mouthfulls.

Quite a nice room, but not sure I would rush back.

Went there for Valentine diner , and the food once again was below par and very expensive for what you get in your plate . The only thing that was good was their bread ! There are by far much better options in Angeles .
Just stay away ...

I have been meaning to have dinner at this restaurant inside Clark for sometime. We made it this week and had a very enjoyable dinner. Escargot, Foie Gras, Brazilian beef and Barracuda all excellent, well prepared and beautifully presented.

C in Angeles had been the only fine dining option, Yats is as good if not better. Better because of a very diverse menu.

Please go, make the drive and try it, I doubt you'll be disappointed. This place is too good to not be a success.

Mimosa Leisure Estate in Clark Special Economic Zone, http://www.yatsrestaurant.com/
Over the years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of eating in some of the finest restaurants in the world. When I moved to the Philippines I knew that my choices would be limited. While Manila does have a number of fine restaurants, the city is a place I try to avoid.

While I had heard mention of the Grill Room of Yats Wine club a number of times and even a saw a television show that featured it, it did not seem to attract my attention. Of course, I was wrong. My first experience at Yats was a luncheon meeting. When the meal was served it definitely was not your standard business lunch. It was a five course lunch meal. It was so good that for the first time I felt compelled to thank the chef. Chef Philip has created a superb restaurant which ranks with the best in the world.

One of the things that had initially put me off about the Grill Room was that it was the restaurant of the Yat's International Wine Club, which is an expensive membership club. Members can dine in the Burgundy Room which seats sixteen or the Bordeaux Room for four to six guest . The eighty seat main dining area is however open to the public. The member rooms and the Public rooms are elegant

The cuisine can be characterized as French Mediterranean, classic fine dining without a lot of hype and gimmicks. Another item that separates this fine dining from the others I have tried is the size of the portions. They are generous. The menu offers a wide range of items to choose from. You will also find some very special "gourmet" dishes with “out of the ordinary” choices. Imported from around the world, this could include venison, crocodile, quail, rabbit, pheasant, and a host of others. Yats also has the finest beef you will find. I once coax a friend who claimed that she did not like beef to sample my steak. The next time we came in she ordered a steak.

In addition the the main menu the restaurant has some additional offerings. There are the Chefs specials. They also have a wine pairing dinner where you choose either a white or a red wine. The meal is built around your choice. There is also a extra special wine pairing once a month. These special events pair a food course with an wine. If you are on a budget you may want the very reasonably priced Prix Fixe Menus (3-course executive lunch p450 or a5-course wine dinner p790 )

If you watch the iron chef programs on television you will know that fine dining goes beyond the realm of taste. Presentation often called plating and creativity plays a role. The service and surrounding must also be perfect. Yat's excelles in all of these.
