A Greek - Philipino Restaurant and bar offering fine food in an intimate atmosphere. On our visit we ordered Filipino Beef Caldera & Rice, Greek Potatoes, Greek Salad and Asparagus Soup. All was excellent and provided in generous proportions. A real gem!

After having travelled in Thailand and Cambodia, where finding veggie dishes was a snap, I was challenged in the Philippines to find dishes other than meat, fish, and rice.

As a side note - It is crucial to our disestive system to incorporate as many fruits and veggies when travelling. Meats and rice do not provide the fiber/bulk we need. Just ensure that you pick a good restaurant where you're sure they are not washing the veggies in tap water.

I was happy to find this (slightly off the beaten track) place. I found their Greek salad (appetizer size) a perfect size as a complement to their main dishes. It's so large that you could have it as a main course.

I wanted a decent red wine and they had a good house wine. Reasonably priced and generously sized.

Inside is a smoke-free zone and air conditioned. The outside is noisy with trikes passing by.

The wait-staff - I encountered only two - are friendly and efficient. The owner (Michael) is a Dutch ex-pat. He obviously cares about quality and service. Two critical elements that I consider when I look for a place to eat.

This Greek (and a bit Dutch) small restaurant just off of Don Juico Avenue has some very tasty dishes on their menu. I've tried some Greek Dishes, but mostly eat the Nasi Goreng with Sate there, love it very very much ! Good service, the quality of the food is very good, so try it! Just around the corner from either Bretto's and C'Italian dining, the little side street in between actually. Great Value for Money !!

However the name mentioned that this restaurant serves Greek and Filipino food, there are several "dutch" specialty's on the menue.
For a traveler it's highly recommended to try the "Nasi Goreng with Sate (saus), and lately they start serving "Huzarenslaatje".
Bitter ballen are also on the menue, just mouth watering food.
It's just "a place to be", Michael, the owner is well informed and guests are always welcome for tourist information.
A trip to the Pinatubo or the Hot water springs ( driving trough the river and canion) or Subic Bay, talk to Michael and you'l be well informed.

As a foreigner living in Phil's we often travel up north from Manila and drop by myrnaki. If its an overnight stay in ac we often have breakfast and dinner here. Great service and great value food are complimented often by a warm welcome from the owners micheal and Myrna. Try to gyros pita, and if you have room for more after the banana split I a pleasure
