Location: on the Strand by the waterfront and closer to highway 8 than most other hotels. Because it is not on Upper or Lower Main Road, it is a quieter location. The water front provides a scenic outlook.
Building: at least 2 stories, maybe 3; but there is no elevator.
Room: spacious with new wooden pre-engineered floor; Television had only 2 channels available. Mosquitoes present, but no mosquito nets provided. Sheets provided on twin beds.
Bathroom: Hand sink had no hot water and little shelf space for toiletries. No shower stall so entire bathroom floor gets wet after a shower, but at least the shower had built-in hot water.
Restaurant: usually seemed empty. Breakfast was a plate of noodles, sometimes with an egg on top; coffee or tea included.
Staff: limited English, but very helpful to me by telephoning other hotels to find a room for me when Ngwe Moe could only book me for one night. That's how I found the Cinderella Hotel which I liked more in some respects.
