Relaxing, friendly and casual resort ideal for enjoying Bali's excellent scuba locations. We loved the people we met while hanging around the restaurant. Scuba diving through the dive center was happily convenient and the dives and guides were fabulous. The rooms are very nice and yet casual; they work well for walking in when dripping wet, into a post dive warm shower. We ate in the resort restaurant each meal but would venture out next time if our stay was longer. More

Perfect location
Hotel has lovely well kept gardens. 2 very nice swimming pools. The views from the resort of the ocean really make this place. 7 of our party had a try dive, some of us were very apprehensive, the tutor doing the classroom session was professional but made it fun as well. Once we got into the pool we had one to one tuition. The dive in the sea was amazing plenty to see it was like swimming in an aquarium with the comfort of the tutor holding your hand. I would recommend doing the try dive here. The qualified divers did not use the resorts dive school as it was expensive and did not offer enough flexibility.
The restaurant had great views especially from the first floor.

Our stay here was very enjoyable.

Oasis of rest and diving paradise
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as family of 5 in two adherent rooms. Never been diving before we took a diving introduction for 2 adults and 2 children(12 and 14). Was a real nice experience with extremely kind and skillful guides. Snorkling is also possible but not advisable with young children. No sand beach but large stones which with the waves makes entering the sea difficult. You can snorkle to the ship wreck and see a lot of nice fish. We ate most meals in the restaurant which has a nice view, is very quiet, friendly staff and ok food. Portions are rather small, so if you are a big eater an appetizer or dessert will be needed. The hotel has also a very nicely maintained garden and two swimming pools which our kids loved. The hotel also has some bicycles which we tried. But was no success as the small bicycle was too big for our youngest son.

Great sea side view and cocktails by the sea
Rooms are nice, small and nicely decorated. Facilities at this hotel are minimal. Awesome place to to stay for a dive trip with partner. Slightly pricey but worth the experience. The room does not have a hot water kettle. Toilet and shower is basic. and messy at times due poorly planned drain and sloped floor! Diving at the facility is expensive. Hence not for the budget conscious.

Super location, dive guide dissapointing
We really enjoyed the 1st floor room with a nice daybed at the balcony hanging out from the balcony. You cannot beat the view, straight at the sea front with direct view to the sea and early morning sunrise.

It seems to be a smoothly run operation with attentive staff and good service. The food at the restaurant has too much attention to European food to my taste, but there are lots of local fare restaurants 5 minutes from the resort. They add 21 per cent on all food and drink bills for gov. tax and "service" - the latter apparently shared with local staff each month. I'd prefer to have nett prices quoted so you know what you are paying when you order and that staff is paid a salary they can live off and where tips are a bonus for good service and not forced upon you.

We were really dissapointed with the professionalism sorrounding the diving. They charge you 44 eur for one dive with equipment and then you do no even get a depth gauge, so we had to rent a dive computer as well. The dive guide may have been diving the Liberty wreck a million times, but he declared later that he is not a dive master. Our west and tank was carried down to the site but when we got there some other divers going in before us had taken ours and my husband had to make do with a smaller west than what he normally wears. The guide - we never got the name and he ran off to have breakfast immediately after the dive and we never saw him again - appeared very young and not very talkative. We were diving the wreck and he spent more time under water showing us nudis rather than taking us around the wreck. At 60 bar he made us go for a safety stop far from the otherwise nice coral we found at 5 m where we could have used our safety stop to see just a little more. So while I would stay here again I would go to eg Liverty divers and dive with them another time, you get 2 dives and full equipment for usd 60.

fuss free and serene
We had booked this resort with the intention of getting a dive course with them, but unfortunately this did not materialize as the course was full when we got there. Nevertheless, the resort will be very ideal for diving enthusiasts as it is just right in front of tulamben beach, which houses amazing attractions such as Coral Garden and the USS Liberty shipwreck.

The room we booked was clean with no-frills (i.e. no TV and no kettle for boiling hot water). The highlight of it all is the day bed on the balcony, which allowed for a breathtaking paranomic view of the sea front, especially in the morning if you wake up early enough to catch the sun rise.

The resort is also well equipped with amenities and services, i.e. bike rental (rp 70,000/day) and a spa centre. The local staff were also very friendly and initiated in helping out whenever we had a query.
