I heard a lot about this place and was really looking forward to it as the highlight of trip to Bali. Unfortunately, it failed to impress me. It was a great place to watch the sunset but there are so many other places where you can watch the exact same sunset. The place was crowded and there was no place to sit and watch the sunset and have drinks for about 15 minutes. So go early if you want to get one of the lounges.
They take reservations for dinner, but don't take reservations for pre-dinner seating which I found odd.
The drinks were good - priced a bit on the higher side (110k Rp) for Bali standards and I acknowledge that they were well prepared and tasted great.
Food was the big let down. So heavily overpriced for Bali standards and on par with what you'd pay in a good Australian restaurant. I really wouldn't mind this if the food was on par with what you'd get in a good Australian restaurant. So at the end of the night, I felt the dinner was a rip-off and we were paying more for the location than the dining experience.
All in all one shared platter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 5 cocktails for the two of us set us back by little more than AU$200.
So to round it up, go for the drinks and the sunset and some good house music, skip the dinner.
