The cooking class picked us up at 8.30am and we had a guided tour of a market by the chef. He went into great details of the typical Balinese produce and it helped tie the whole experience once we started cooking. After the market tour we went to the restaurant for the class, which had 7 participants. The class was very hands and constantly explained why we had to cut it a certain way, or why grinding spice in a special way was important. We then cooked the food , a lot of it, but absolutely dilicious. We finished at about 1.30pm. It was definitely worth the money.
