Recommended to try by a local expat who runs an antique shop down the road. Not sure what to expect, given that our hotel was further south, and the travel time was not worth it for us to go and freshen up and return. We were not dresses in our best....polo shirt/shorts, kids were wearing their flip flops and t-shirts. On top of that, we did not have reservation. We went on Thursday at around 7:00 pm, and was told by the attendant that they would need our table by 8:30. OK, we are quick eaters, and hopefully, the service would be fast so we can eat and get out and head back to our hotel after a long day.
A wonderful surprise for us....What a wonderful space and view for dinner. Our waiters were attentive and nice. We ordered a few starters and a bottle of wonderful wine. The squash blossom was awesome and the tuna carpaccio was divine. Then we each tried a different dish- super rich gnocchi, lamb was perfectly prepared, pork chop was superb, shrimp in pesto & pasta was different but really really good. We also ordered desserts- cannoli, macadamia cake, lemoncello soufle was super good. My complement to the chefs!
Highly recommend. Reservation is must. Would go back, but I would dress up a little as I felt under dressed with my shorts and t-shirts. Definitely a romantic place. (see pics)
