I lived in Bali for 2 years and always passed this place never thinking of it. But came back for a holiday and stayed in Dash for four nights. The staff were so accommodating from the minute I got out of the taxi which was such a relief after a 36 hour trip. Had an 8 night stay at this quirky hotel the location is ok across the road from Potato Head and about a 10 minute walk to the beach and main street of Seminyak. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily, beds and pillows very comfy, staff were wonderful they were very helpful. There are quite a few places along the hotels street were you can get a drink or meal or both but the main drag is about a 10 minute walk to Seminyak Square. Overall a very good accommodation I would gladly stay there again.

Dash Hotel Seminyak
Stayed here with two friends. Our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a balcony.
We found it very convenient and it worked well for us travelling as friends - great location, downstairs full-sized pool, upstairs has a cool rooftop bar with plunge pool and sun beds. There’s also a very basic gym upstairs.
Staff were lovely and super accommodating.
Some room for improvement - lighting. It’s dark in the rooms and really annoying for trying to do makeup. The bathrooms have big heavy shower curtains that block the light from the shower so it’s dark in there. The couch was strangely small for a room that seats 4, so it was a bit inconvenient for us to try and use the space. Our room also often smelled like sewage so staff kept coming in to try and clear the smell and spraying air freshener.
Overall it was a good hotel and we’d stay here again, though we’d ask to move rooms if we got another smelly one.

Dash Hotel Seminyak
We took an extremely cheap 7 night package at Dash in Seminyak, having stayed twice before in Legian. There was a lot to like about Dash. A good room, great air conditioning, room service was excellent. Good tv and internet reception. Almost all you can eat from the kitchen next door for breakfast, but freshly cooked, not a questionable buffet. We arrived around midnight, and as such we were allowed to stay in our room for a similar time on the night we left, without paying extra which was great as we were travelling on the redeye. The rooftop pool area is nothing flash but nice large sun lounges and a mini pool to provide relief when the sun was getting hot. Nice chillout music and good cocktails from the Shack. Only a couple of small improvements - the lighting around the bathroom mirror is very yellow and as the rooms are fairly dark with the graffiti on the walls, it's very difficult lighting to do your makeup. A change to whiter globes would make a big difference. The hairdryer was also hard to use and there was no power point in the bathroom for it (only a shaver outlet).

Good food, OK location, very small rooms, average staff.
At best a hotel to stay in for a couple of nights, roof top area is nice, but isolated, free mini bar refill was a bonus.
Unfortunately several of our inclusions were not offered by the staff, meals, cocktails, massages etc, when we complained the staff at reception did the Bali shrug and looked at us blankly, suddenly unable to understand us.
We checked out a day early.

This hotel stands out for its mannequins on the balconies that you can spot on the main road. It’s just as fun and colorful inside the hotel. The rooms are spacious, well lit and enough shelves to store all your stuff. We have a room facing the street; not recommended unless you don’t mind the noise at night. It’s lucrative to add in breakfast as you can choose just about everything on the menu. Great location: within walking distance to beach and shops and restaurants.
