Great villa with an accent on traveller's privacy and comfort. The generous open spaces that unite the living ground floor area with the pool, sundeck and garden are giving you a sense of openness and freedom. 5 minutes easy walk to the beach and sopping/restaurants area. We spent great time there with the help of villa's professional and friendly staff.

Definitely a peace of paradise, the villa are amazing, one of the nicest place that i have been, beautiful decor, private, tidy and with a lovely staff team, always with a big smile on their faces willing to help you any time. I really looking forward to come back.

We kicked off our Bali holiday with three nights at the Alam Warna. The first thing which must be said, the staff - they were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them, including giving my husband a lift to Changgu so he could go surfing. It was the perfect first impression for Bali to be met by such welcoming and warm people.
The villa itself was lovely, very clean and spacious, and we were located close enough to walk to the beach, as well as shops & restaurants on the 'eating strip'.. I would recommend the Alam Warna to anyone considering a trip to Seminyak.

The first thing I would note is when selecting accommodation from Trip Advisor is to only read reviews from authors who have made multiple submissions. While not foolproof it reduces the chance of reading reviews which are not independent and/or lack perspective.
LOCATION
Nestled behind Seminyak Square and 5 minutes to the beach, Gang Pandu is a little difficult to find, however it is very quiet and accessibility to beach and Jalan Laksmana (shops) is Goodyear once you have found it.
VILLAS
We stayed in a one bedroom pool villa. Very spacious to the point of being impractical with the bedroom being up a huge, steep flight of stairs with minimal hand railing. Impractical for the young and old.  Despite being so high the top floor of the villa had no view accept across to the villa opposite and into the pool court yards left and right. I.e. Privacy was poor,  particularly when you consider there is a building site next door with workers able to look directly into the Villa courtyard and living space. Also noisey during the day
The bathroom was huge but spartan, for the price one would expect a double bath but all that was on offer was 2 sinks and a rain head shower.  The bathroom doesn't meet the criteria of open air, neither was it fully sealed so it is a haven for Mosquitos.  The door to the bedroom is also not sealed so it provides an egress for mosquitos.   The king size bed was huge and comfortable
LIVING AREA
Large semi-enclosed area comprising, kitchenette, dining, living and day-bed room, with fish pond and trickle water wall feature. This looks onto a large pool and cold water spa. In August the pool gets little sun and the temperature was too cold to rest in.  The spa was only slightly warmer, and hence also not suitable to relax in.
ERGONOMICS
Already mentioned is the daunting stair case, but many other little things are poorly designed. E.g. Bedside lamps too dark to read by.  Toilet roll holders difficult to reach while on the loo and the dispenser only allows for one sheet at a time! Front door difficult to lock as the door was warped. No views.
In general while the villa was huge it was poorly designed, so the extra space is just that.
STAFF
Excellent service, friendly and helpful. In villa massage was good. Faultless!!!
BREAKFAST
OK but not available for early check out.
PRICE POINT
This villa is in the higher quartile of villa pricing but doesn't outshine many villas which are 30-50% cheaper, hence why I have rated as 3 stars

Room Tip: Ask to be located in a room away from the building site

My daughter and I have just returned from a weeks holiday in Bali. We had a fantastic time in a one bedroom apartment at Alam Warna which was centrally located in Seminyak. The apartment was beautiful with an open and relaxed feel. The large bedroom and bathroom (with luxurious spa) were great. The living area with gas kitchen and a large day bed completed the outdoor settings.
We loved being close to the beach (5mins walk) and within a couple of minutes walk from Seminyak Square where there is a great supermarket and lots of good restaurants. We would highly recommend Sardines restaurant (10mins by car) make sure you arrive before sunset to appreciate the vista.
The staff at Alam Warna were exceptional. The friendly welcome at the airport was just the beginning of our great care. The staff went to extra efforts to book us into restaurants, organise bike excursions to Mount Batur, and generally anything else that was needed.
We would unreservedly recommend Alam Warna. The villas for a larger group would be the go as the large pool and outdoor areas would be fun. However, the apartment for two people is more than spacious. The STAFF at Alam Warna deserve a big thank you. You did yourselves and the villas proud. Thank you so much and we look forward to returning and recommending you to our friends and family. Janet and Miss Samantha

My friends and I cannot stop raving about Alam Warna. I have never left a review on Trip Advisor before, but felt compelled to in this case due to the stunning villa, beautiful staff and overall fantastic exerperience.

We had a group of 7 Australian girls on a friends trip. The entire team at Alam Warna were so accommodating - they placed us in a 2 bedroom villa with an apartment right next door - the set up was ideal. The villa and apartment were gorgeous, roomy, clean and open. Our pool was spectacular. We can be picky girls, but the villa and apartment were above and beyond our own expectations - any photos I had seen had not done the place justice!! Simply stunning.

The location is FANTASTIC. Right between Seminyak Square and the main shops, as well as locations such as BodyWorks, Ku De Ta, the beach and Potato Head. They provided us with a driver. It is also near great lunch options with Bali Bakery and Grocer & Grind - perhaps a 3 minute walk to each.

The price was so reasonable given the plush villa. Our bedrooms were stunning, and we loved features like the coy pool under the stairs, the satellite TV, stereo, huge fridge, daily in-house breakfast, air-conditioning and modern bathrooms.

Nothing was too much hassle for the staff. A few examples:
- When construction next door was loud, they offered us a spare villa to relax in during the day, and complementary in-house massages. They gave us a whole day to go on an excursion with the driver and a minibus.
- I personally lost my wallet when out in Kuta, and they happily helped me cancel credit cards at home and drove me to the police station and bank in Kuta to file a report.
- They held our baggage for the day, a few days after we had checked out, as we had to wait for our final flight home in the evening.
- They helped us book many dinner reservations at hard-to-get restaurants, as well as beauty treatments.

All in all - I cannot recommend Alam Warna enough. It was beautiful. THANK YOU to the wonderful team, you were all fantastic and we hope to be back soon!!!! I cannot recommend the place any more - you will not regret it!!

Room Tip: Try to avoid the construction site next door - can be noisy.

Stayed at Alam Warna with my wife, daughter, her husband and 5 month old baby. were a little dissapointed the 2 bedroom villa was alittle bit worst for wear, needed a good detail, furniture scratched and chipped, 2 toilets not working and no hot water in the upstairs bedroom, reading light hanging off bedhead, the wonderfull staff who we could not praise enough had the toilet and hot water fixed the next day.breakfast was served in the villa every morning and was average. The pool was great and the spa good.our 10th trip to bali and our first in a villa,i think I prefer a hotel as the villa was not suitable for small children, the stairs up to the bedroom were very steep and dangerous and pond sand the pool not suitable for small children. The staff were wonderfull especially Putu the security guard who was a real character. All in all for the price I think it needs an overhaul
