Average service staff with sloppy attitude.. Staff didnt even bother clearing out previous nights leftover dishes before serving breakfast the next morning!
Though villas were spacious, they well not well maintained.. had leaking aircons, chipped doors and was mosquito infested

Dear luxetraveller21

Thank you for taking the time to review us.

I am disappointed to here that our services did not meet up to expectations. We strive to create memorable experiences and in this cases we fell short. Rest assured this is share with the team and we continue to take steps to improve our services, personalising to the needs of each guests.

With mosquitoes, we regular fumigate our grounds and have pest control active monitoring on a daily basis. We do offer a natural repellant to all our guests and do recommend using this as a preventative measure.

Thank you again and I do hope to seeing you back at Sentosa Seminyak.

Regards, Sashi

What a great resort!
Our villa was spectacular and service excellent. Fantastic food as well. Arrived late at night but we were well looked after with excellent room service. What a great start to a dream holiday!
Worthwhile!

Such a great place for a group or family, location great, close to best restaurants, shopping and bars in Seminyak, amazing breakfast and resort facilities.
Villas are gorgeous, very spacey, and cleaned well on a daily basis. Staff were lovely, and the buggy service very handy.
Thankyou for a great stay, and will definitely be back again!

Never having been to Bali before it is hard to decide where to stay. The photos of the villa here looked appealing and if you are reading this you may wonder if the reality is the same. Certainly for us it was. The villas are a taste of luxury that I would not experience in my normal life. With outdoor bathrooms and open living area onto the pool. The design is very good. While there were a few minor issues similar to those described in previous reviews these were always fixed promptly. Once in the villa there seems no need to leave, you could spend your while holiday here (apart from going to the great restaurants).
So if you are wondering about staying here, just do it, you wont regret it. I would come back here

Dear lennyjr89

Thank you for reviewing us and I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us.

Most of our guests spend their time in the villa itself, having your own private pools and fully-equiped kitchen. Sounds like you did the same!

We are excited to introduce our new restaurant bringing Luke Mangan to Bali with Salt tapas at Sentosa Seminyak. This will open from September so when you visit next, add this to the list of restaurants to visit.

I look forward to welcoming you back.

Our family of four recently stayed in a 4 bedroom villa with another family of four. Overall we were all very happy with the villa complex but lack of attention in some areas of the service provided made it a very good stay instead of excellent.

Most of the people in our group had stayed in villas in Seminyak before so it was easy to compare with what we had experienced previously.

The good points were:
1. Size of the villa - The 4 bedroom villa was a decent size and even though there was 8 people there (including 4 very excited kids) we never felt crowded in. Pool was a good size and enough lounges/day beds for all. The kitchen/dining/lounge area was great as it could be opened right up (as we did) or the bifold doors could be closed to make it an inside room. Things like the entrance over the fish pond is also a nice touch.

2. Dining options - Was great to have the option to either eat in the villa or go down to the restaurant. We chose the restaurant for breakfast most days and the choice of hot meals and buffet was great. Room service options were very nice and price was very reasonable.

3. Location - The villa complex is huge (over 40 villas) so depending where your villa is, you could be closer to the Potato Head area of Seminyak or Eat Street. We were at the back and used the back security gate most times. This lane gets you onto Eat St in 5 mins. Golf buggies are plentiful so you can always ring for one to get from one end of the complex to the other.

Some bad points/areas that needed attention are:
1. Inconsistent Service - The service in reception and the restaurant was very good. The service in the villa was good as well, but was sporadic at best. We felt that, due to the size of the complex, some things that we assumed would "just get done" were often missed and only attended to following a request. Things like spraying of the rooms and the turn down service happened on some days and not others. Room cleaning, taking of empty plates etc. happened but times ranged from one day to the next so it was hard to plan around. The water cooler ran out of water but was not replaced until we asked for a replacement bottle. Shampoo etc. was not replenished at all.

2. Wear and tear - I think the villas are starting to show their age. In the ten days that we were there two safes needed repairing, our water cooler needed replacing (was not keeping the water cold), a shower head needed replacing and a cupboard door hinge needed replacing. When queried, all were fixed promptly.

Overall I would recommend the villas, especially for people who can't decide between villas and hotels as it has the best of both worlds. However they are very expensive (especially in peak time when we went) and are starting to show their age a bit.

Room Tip: Villas at the back of the complex have easy access to a laneway that will get you onto Eat St in 5 m...

We stayed at Sentosa Villas 2 years ago and didn't think it was possible, but it has got better. The uber-cool main pool area has great lounging, but also a lovely space to enjoy the best breakfasts we have ever eaten (the bircher muesli was sooooo yummy, so too the eggs benedict with salmon - I'd return for these alone.)
Our villa was the epitome of style, relaxation, privacy and fun. We have two small boys and there was enough space to enjoy family time in and out of our own private pool and lounge areas, as well as enough cabanas and rooms in our villa to escape to read a book in private.
Again we were cursing we did not have friends and family with us to enjoy such a beautiful place.
The location is stellar - walking distance or a $2 cab to many of Bali's best restaurants - though this time we almost didn't leave our villa. Sublime.
The cream on top were the staff - very friendly, helpful and caring (our youngest son was a bit washed out after a full day's rafting and they checked on him and sent guava juice round - great pick me up and very thoughtful.)
