“First time in Bali”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We did a search for a hotel near the beach, with a pool, restaurant and wifi. This was one of our choices and I'm very glad we chose it. We're in a Villa, a very spacious room with an incredibly comfortable bed and duvet. The free breakfast is ample although the menu for other meals is limited. The pool is sufficient for relaxing but needs a few more beds at the busiest of times. We found the location of the hotel to be close enough for walking to the beach and away from the Main Street enough to remain quiet. Also found the cocktails at the bar to be very generous!

The staff have been very helpful arranging motor transport, bikes and cars. Would be happy to return again. A taxi into Kuta for some shopping was $4.00.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a villa. The beds are just superb.

Enjoyed my week at Bali Agung Village. The staff were polite and very helpful for a single traveler. Excellent room rate. The complex was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was included in the rate, and while simple, it was adequate. I enjoyed the walk to the beach and the walk up to the main street. The best of Seminyak's restaurants could be reached very quickly by a scooter ride through the back streets. I felt safe and very and secure here.

Room Tip: The rooms are quiet. As a solo traveler I was given two single beds so request a double if you would...

We spent here for the third time in 5 years about 8 days of our holiday.
Very nice balibese style, rooms totaly renovated, bathroom also. Nice pool.
Close to restaurants, sea and center of Seminyak with its 5 gaybars on walking distance.
We would stay here again next time.

This hotel was nice and clean. Lovely Balinese style rooms and excellent service. A bit far from the main road, but on the way to the beach. However we were not going to the beach. The way to the hotel was very dark at night so it is a bit scary. Small pool.

I had got this hotel booked through a travel agent for as less as USD 55 including breakfast. Absoloute value for money. It's in a very good area Seminyak, but a little inside as it's at the end of a lane. Not very convenient to always walk in and out of the hotel to the main street. But the hotel staff helped us to rent bikes and then the location wasn't an issue anymore. Clean rooms and a typical Bali atmosphere including the architecture.

The Hotel is simple but nice. Rooms are good anyway the one we had( bungalow). Location is good ( not excellent) Strong balinese character. Small hotel with only few rooms and bungalows. So everything oke sodar
However sanatary as bath , shower and toilet is really poor and will have to be changed soon if not immediate. To get hot water is taking at least 30 minutes. And that is bad in a country where you have watch the water you use. The bath was rusty and sorry to say not clean.

Room Tip: Bungalow are large and very comfartable. Interior is old in our room number 4 the airco was blowing...

Outstanding. Clean and quiet, lovely grounds, excellent location that is near to both beach and restaurants/shopping. My room was updated with a nice (if smallish) bathroom, fridge with minibar treats, and good A/C. Wifi was slow and sometimes spotty in my room but useable. It worked much better in the lobby area. If you're nervous about security, you might not like the shuttered front windows (no glass, just wooden shutters with a bar to lock) and the funky padlock on the door. I had no problem with either.

It's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, about the same in the other direction to shops, restaurants, ATMs. If you absolutely must be on the beach, or you prefer resort-like services, give it a pass, but otherwise highly recommended.
