I stayed in a deluxe pool villa for a few nights with my partner in March and absolutley loved it. It was really big and completely private. The pool and garden were much bigger than i expected, it was beautiful....it was so relaxing just swimming all day and lying on the chairs in the sun with no one else around. The breakfast was simple, but everything you would need. The staff were so friendly, whenver i would walk past them, i was greeted with big smiles and 'hellos'.
I would definately recommend this villa and would definately stay here again.

i stayed here in march 09 in a deluxe pool villa and it was great i was very worried after reading bad reviews but shame on these people if you are complaining for the hell of it !There is nothing worth complaining about the staff were lovley and the rooms were beautiful. The frangipani trees are a treat they look so pretty and the gardens are well maintained.
Maybe the kitchen outside is not great but there are so many places close by to go for a great meal who cares. There is a buggy to take you right to your door anytime you want, and if find things to complain about i think you are spending to much time in your room.
the pool was beautiful. i would recomending paying the extra for a deluxe pool villa over a lagoon villa just more privacy and room but you get what you pay for. breakfast was amazing every morning and we booked through our travel agent so got one complimentary dinner and massage. Yes at first the location looks dodgy down a back street but i felt very safe and it was very close to the main street of seminyak a 2 min walk. i loved it and would highly recomend it.

Are all these people talking about the same resort I stayed in? My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom jacuzzi villa in January & enjoyed a wonderful time in a beautiful & peaceful resort, with fantastic service, amenities & surroundings - we could find absolutely nothing to complain about!
We have been going to Bali every year for the past 10 years, usually staying in villas in Seminyak, & this was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in. Mosquitoes? Hello - you are in rural Bali! (We both came home with dengue fever but that was just bad luck in a country where these mozzies abound, despite the hotel's fogging & daily visits with spray & coils & netting around the bed). Birds waking you up? How beautiful is that! Especially in a country where the wildlife has been decimated by tourist development. Cats eating left-overs? How many of you have a cats at home, wandering around your garden & being fed your table scraps? We had feline visitors at night but they were no problem & always ran away when we approached. Lizards inside? They are harmless geckoes who actually do great job eating the mozzies!
The "lanes" you walk down ( for all of 2 or 3 minutes) to get to the main street are very clean, quiet & wide, especially when compared to the lanes in Kuta. And who cares about the breakfast? If you don't like it, there are heaps of other options a few minutes walk away or make your own. My only complaint about the breakfast would be that it is too western - why eat bacon & eggs, or toast & cereal when you are in Bali?
We were so happy with this resort, we suggested it for our son's holiday a few weeks ago & his family (first timers to Bali) also thought it was a fantastic place to stay,
and we are also returning to stay at Villa Seminyak in July, this time with our daughter & her children. I cannot recommend a better place to stay for an unforgettable holiday (for all the right reasons!)
I'm afraid some people will find fault with anything - don't listen to them!!
