We can't begin to thank the Manager and Staff at Villa Coco for the greatest holiday ever, it was magical. We enjoyed two weeks there with two other couples and simply loved every day shared.
We all had our very own private villa which we loved with a passion so if your looking for that special "bali feel" then Villa Coco is definately for you. The whole ambience of Villa Coco was fantastic.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and when they smiled "the whole world lit up".
The Manager of Villa Coco is also a very special lady who was always on hand to offer you any help or advice on your day to day sights. Not only is she a great asset to Villa Coco, she has a lovely way of making you feel like family.
So when you visit Villa Coco, take a deep breath and simply enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

This was one of the most memorable holidays we have had in Bali in the last 20 years. We have never stayed in a Villa previously and found it to be very affordable for the 2 couples travelling with us. The staff were very friendly and always there no matter what time of day or night with a smile on their face willing to attend to all our needs. Especially love the chocolate on the pillow at night and the lighting of the mosquito coils. The food and drink prices were reasonable and the food quality was exceptional. Our rooms were kept very clean and love the outside bathroom. Very unique to Bali. All couples have decided that this is the resort for us in the future as we were welcomed as one of the family by all staff and management. Thanks so much for the best holiday ever.

We stayed in the two bedroom pool villa (late June 2010) which is visually stunning . It has large white tiles that are slippery for children when wet (rain gets on it) and the pool is not fenced off which is no problem for adults. We had two young children so extra vigilence was required. The bathrooms and bedrooms are simple and modern. A large undercover area with large lounges is great to relax in . Any issues are best directed to Claire (rather then the friendly staff) who deals with them quickly ie our tv was on the blink for a few days and asking the handyman to sort in resulted in daily half attempts till Claire was onto it. The only thing that really disappointed me for the US$290 a day I paid were things like very poor lighting in the bathroom so my wife couldnt put on makeup without hassles at night, opaque curtains that let the early morning light pour in the rooms, the breakfast is an insult (included but at that price we expected NOT to have to pay extra for coffee in a pot ( coffee sachets and powered mild sachets are free , pftt) and a childs portion nasi goreng as a standard meal, tiny watery orange juice was a joke etc. Grassed areas in the villas become muddy after rain but hey.. its Bali. Two couples would be ideal in the 2 bedroom villa rather than a mum and dad and two kids set up. Definately compare what you get here for you money against other villas such as UMA SAPNA where our friends stayed for $100 US and a 2 bedroom pool villa is about $50 US cheaper with a brekkie that reflects your daily rate ie a la carte and superior decor. Enjoyed it and it was easy to take wonderful photos of our holiday in a beautiful villa.

Situated in a lane off Double 6, this hidden gem is certainly worth staying at. 2 couples stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa which was very private. New modern style with outdoor living area that included kitchenette, dining table, lounging chairs and fans all under cover. The large pool with backdrop fountain wall, spill over edges wide enough to lay on was the place to cool off in Bali heat. If you want to book our accommodation villa, it's C2. The 2 bedrooms were set up alike - airconditioner, very comfortable queen size bed, indoor/outdoor bathroom, TV/DVD. Beds folded down each night and rooms sprayed for mozzies. Privacy and space for both couples. Each morning we had complimentary breakfast - 5 to choose from including western and Bali style. The staff were very friendly - not all could speak English, however, our requirements were met each time. Claire Quinn the Aussi Manager is lovely. You need to know anything at all, she is the person to talk to. Only caution is: Some of the villas are still being renovated, so I would be asking questions about the condition of the one you book. Noise intruding into our villa was not a problem.

Stayed in a one bedroom pool villa.
Very spacious - that was a plus.
Bathroom was terrible. Constantly smelt like strong bleach and just had a dirty feel to it. The bathtub was small, cracked and stained. The shower flooded the room each time you used it due to the shower head squirting water everywhere but on you. I usually don't care about trivial things like bathroom conditions when on holidays but this really ruined it for me.
Staff were very rude. They did not go out of their way to be friendly - not even a 'hello' when you walked passed them or when they delivered your breakfast.
Location is good - not far from the beach or main shopping street. There are good places to eat nearby also - the best is Warung Murah - fantastic traditional balinese food.
Overall, Villa Coco was a bit disappointing. Nightly rates are very expensive for what is offered. I know that i could find a nicer place for much cheaper, and this is definitely what i will do on my return to bali.

Our stay at Villa Coco was without question the most fabulous accommodation I have had the pleasure to experience. We have by the way stayed in some of the best! The staff gave us the warmest genuine smiles that have ever come my way, they were happy, helpful wonderful people.I have read the reviews on Coco about mosquitoes etc. for heavens sakes did you not read the interesting and witty information guide? We did and took the advice and low and behold, we did not get a single bite,(the repellent was provided free of charge after all). The food was cooked on site, fresh and tasty, breaky was a great start to the day and always delicious (simply loved the Bali Kopi), and oooh the cocktails by the pool became a ritual at fivezies (five oclock). We had two different villas as we left for 6 days to stay in Ubud(in top notch pre paid hotel) which did not compare to Villa Coco and after 3 days rang the wonderful girls in the office and begged them to let us come back.Thank God they did! All the guests we spoke to loved the place and most were booking their next stay, as indeed we did. Villa Coco is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Quiet and private, constantly tended and cleaned, the beds turned down every night and the chockies on the bed were such a nice touch. What more can I say, banyak bagus thankyou all so much! Sara and Mark p.s forgot to mention the best massages we have ever had!

We had 11 women ages 40 - 55 in this beautiful 4 bed villa. All rooms had own bathrm and toilet plus toilet down stairs. Could not have asked for a better style of accommodation for us. We could all be social together with plenty of space, not one of us could stop commenting on how this villa could not have been any better set up for this type of group. Sevice was good, all rooms clean, location good, probably about 600 mtr from beach, but we were happy with the pool we had. Becareful of the tiles in living area, typical asia, tiles smooth as, very slippery. We checked out a 2 bed villa that was also nice, they all have pricate pools, no need to go anywhere else, nice and private. No so good if you have little kids, all areas open straight into pool. Becareful of using moisturizer, sunscreen etc they are on the mini bar so you get charged.
