PROS: A nice villa for up to 6 people. 2 identical double bedrooms downstairs with large en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower only. Huge open living area. Satellite TV with web access. Nice pool area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ida makes a nice nasi goreng. Security guard right outside the front gate 24/7. parking out the front.
CONS: Pre-booked some drinks and the staff were over charged by the supplier, so check prices. Note that this villa is not part of the others in the complex and the little office was confused. This is Villa 16A. A real pity about the busy road. Jalan Drupadi used to be a quiet street, now it is busy. Even Gang Kahyangan (the laneway on the side) is busy. Kilo restaurant is on the other side of the lane. Bedrooms are quiet, but pool and living area are affected by the traffic noise.
So, provided you don't mind the traffic noise, this place ain't bad.
Excellent villa great location close to eat street and all the action just book for a second time can't wait to get they
This villa was not the cheapest we looked and it's definitely overpriced. Everything was tired and dated and it was in no way luxurious. Downstairs bathrooms were grotty (dingy with cigarette butts in among the decorative stones and masses of detritus on the mesh over the open roof). We arrived to a bed with stains on the sheet and a later replacement had a cigarette burn. Towels were thin and ancient. The living area furniture was all plastic 'wicker' outdoor stuff and there were no cushions on the sun loungers. Garden was tatty. Wifi and hot water unreliable. Noise from the streets outside. Cannot fault the staff who were all very efficient as was the booking process and airport shuttles. Last villa we rented in Bali we didn't want to leave, this one we didn't want to stay.
Booking Villa Drupadi was a last minute frantic effort due to unforseen cancellation of our accommodation 2 days before travel. Everything went so smoothly right from the first point of contact - the booking was effortless and nothing was too much trouble.
The villa is ideally located to our most loved hotspots of Seminyak.
What made our stay feel more homely and relaxing was the treasure you have in Aida. She is such a lovely, warm and friendly lady who has fantastic cooking skills - we certainly looked forward to our breakfasts each morning.
Thank you for making our stay such a happy, fun and relaxing time. We look forward to the next time :)
The villa offered everything one needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The housekeeper, Ida was excellent, providing daily home cooked breakfast and ensuring we had all we needed. The location was excellent, in a quieter street near the main shopping area. Accommodation of three air-conditioned bed rooms and open plan living area was very comfortable and combined with the pool provide a perfect holiday experience. We recommend Drupadi 16A and will return.
We have just had a wonderful week at 16A. Ida and her sister looked after us so well. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the villa was great in size and location for us all. Security was just outside the door 24 hours a day. Ida is the most wonderful cook. We usually get abit bored with the breakfast we have had in other villas. That was not a problem with Ida as the chef!

We booked this villa as two families with teenage boys, at short notice. So we were pleased we managed to get a villa like this and where it was.
Airport transfers were included and worked well.
The villa is in a good location, walking distance to local shops, bars and restaurants. Beach is about 20 minutes walk away but easy enough.
The house manager (Ida) was very good and looked after us. She provided us with a local phone and made breakfast every morning. The Mi Goreng was a Favourite, and we preferred her local dishes to the traditional European choices.
The villa could do with a bit of updating to make it luxury, as the bathrooms could do with some attention.
The hot water supply was temperamental, the wifi was extremely slow, and the pool lights were broken all week, which is not what we expect from a luxury villa. These are the only negative points really.
We had a great time here and would recommend it.
