“Great pool side rooms”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

We travelled to Bali in Jan '14. This was our second stay at Breezes and it is still a good hotel. The kids - all ages - had a great time with plenty to do. The gym was very popular! We had a pool side room (deluxe) and it was perfect. The beds are huge and so comfy. We did not get disturbed from pool users. Our boys stayed above us - so the lift was very handy! We requested this after the first night when they were placed on the opposite side of the hotel. They were moved immediately the next day which we appreciated (eldest is almost 17). The breakfast was very good, much better than last time, although we did find it a bit off-putting being asked to leave on the dot of 10am which was when breakfast finished. Even though we were done and the table cleared away. They didn't allow you to sit and chat.
You were also not allowed to eat any food by the poolside that wasn't purchased from the hotel. I can understand a cooked meal but not snacks bought from the deli that the hotel does not offer.
We had a large group staying at the hotel so many calls from room to room were made. Beware - you get charged for these calls! We found that odd.
Wifi wasn't a problem - just had to get logon at the office. Easy.
The meals at the hotel and restaurant were delicious.
One of the big let downs was the lack of entertainment in the bar at the front of the hotel. There used to be bands, and all sorts of fun things to do, but now there is none of this. That was a disappointment.
About 90% of our group got very sick and we were told this was because of the rainy season. I wouldn't travel there in January again. The beach was awful - full of rubbish every morning that had washed up. This was removed each day by tractor but sometimes not til late in the day.
The staff at Breezes are very friendly and obliging and this helps make a happy holiday. Its nice to see familiar faces on a return trip.

First time in Bali!! Three 21 year old girls from Australia - Emma, Sarah and Rebecca! We had the most amazing time here... From everything from the swim up pool bar, buffet breakfast, cocktails, curly fries (with chilli mayo), to the room cleanliness, perfect housekeeping, security service, air conditioning, and safety.

The staff here are by far the best we have ever experienced, happy to help with our every need and so unbelievably FRIENDLY!! Shout outs go to Ika in her massive wedges ;), Juni, Dora, Dicki, Mango, Nicko and Adid and I'm sure there was many more who helped us out and knew each of us by name!! Trainees are also exceptional! :) love everyone there! Didn't meet a staff member who couldn't speak English, making it very easy to communicate about anything!!

Great first stay here in bali, would stay here again and recommend to anyone and everyone! :)

Love Emma, Sarah and Rebecca!

Stayed at this hotel in Dec 2013 with our children, 24 & 22. What a great time we all had. The staff are just amazing and cannot do enough for you no matter what the problem, not that we had any major issues. The facilities are fantastic and all the food we ate at the hotel was very tasty and served within an acceptable time frame. The compulsory New Year celebration was well worth staying at the hotel for and the night we all had was an amazing time with other guests and the staff, the food was incredible. We had two deluxe pool rooms and I would pay the extra for these again, very nicely situated. Over all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very, very enjoyable and definitely going back there.

Room Tip: Deluxe pool side are great!!!

My partner and I stayed at the Breezes for 8 of our 14 nights in Seminyak and I honestly couldn't fault it. The room was spotless every day, breaky was delicious, the gym had everything you need for a workout and the pools were great. The most a taxi cost us was $5AUD including tip.

Yogi picked us up from the airport and was great and Ike who was working at guest services booked us into everything we wanted- Potato head, Ku de Ta, Gado Gado, La luciola, Ginger Moon etc.

People reviewing the hotel have been going on and on about the wifi, talk about first world problems! The wifi voucher gets you 2 hours of surfing and lasts 7 days, so if you log out and log in it goes for more than 2 hours, also you can get as many vouchers as you like so just ask for 4 at a time. If it runs out you call up and get a new log in, its as hard as dialling 3 digits on the phone. One of the good things about the wifi running out from time to time was that I spent less time doing the work I had brought way on holidays with me.

We are also a gay couple, at check in they double checked that we were wanting a king bed and that was it, everyone was very friendly and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a deluxe poolside villa/room, and we were down by the bottom pool, if you are getting one of these rooms I would ask for one down that was as I think it may get a little noisy by the top pool (maybe?).

The hotel was close to the beach, Oberoi St and Seminyak St. If you really want to be in the thick of it Oberoi st is great (we stayed there our next 6 nights) but it really is only a $3-$5AUD cab ride each way.

If you stay here check out Bali Spa, up the side st just down from the hotel, sensational.

Room Tip: leave a tip for house keeping, even if its just $1AUD/day

This was our first time in Bali. We booked 9 days at The Breezes Resort and Spa.
From the moment we arrived and were served at the front desk the service was great. The staff were friendly and always accomodating to our needs.
My family of 5 stayed in an inter-connecting room with a balcony on the 2nd level. We had poolside views.
The breakfast was a very good spread of different foods and there were chefs who even made you eggs as you like.
The accommodation was very clean (no geekos). Each day the room service guy (Ketut) cleaned our rooms and left us different animal figures made from towels and flowers on each bed, a really nice touch.
Daily each person received 2 bottles of water.

For a 4 star resort the condition of the grounds were impressive, there seemed to be cleaners everywhere, either cleaning sand from the pool, trimming hedges or preparing the poolside chairs.

Our stay was made enjoyable by all the staff but especially by the Guest Relaltion Coordinator (Nicko), he is a real asset to the resort. Each day he would check in on us and see what we had planned for the day and would recommend activities or where to go for shopping.
On one of the days my child got a bit of the "Bali belly" and never made it to the breakfast, Nicko found out and arranged for some light refreshment to be sent up to the room and get well flowers from the team.
They have a departure lounge, that you can use after checking out (very good if you have a late flight). They serve some hot food, have a complementary mini fridge, showers, lockers and a safe.

Overall, my family had a good time and enjoyed the facilities.
We would encourage you to check this resort out, you will be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy!

We just got back from our holiday at the Breezes resort and we couldn't fault the resort in any way if we wanted to.
Excellent staff, tidy rooms, very nice pool with swim up bar, good breakfast buffet and only 2 min. from the beach.
We had a babysitter from the hotel for our 9 month old daughter who was just lovely. The hotel charged us 50000 rupiah p/h (about 5 aud) and you can choose to have the baby-sitter in your room or the kids activity centre.
We also had a driver for a couple of days that we organised at the hotel reception. The driver comes with a tidy mini bus for 7 people and costs 350000 (about 35 aud) for the day.
Airport transfer is 150000 (15 aud). Make sure you be at the airport early when departing as we had to wait inline for over an hour to get thru costums. Also don't forget to bring 150000 rupiah p/p in cash for the airport fee when leaving as they don't accept creditcard.
