Words cannot express the love my partner and I have for this resort and it's staff. We spent an amazing 13 Days (11th - 23rd August) at this beautiful resort and wished for more!
Our room was clean and spacious, cute balcony overlooking the swim up bar and tropical facilities. After a long day of lounging around the large pool that wraps around the hotel, we would arrive to a freshly serviced room with beautiful personal notes and towel creatures on our bed.
The staff were more than helpful, assisting us with bookings, information etc. In particular there were certain staff members that made our staff extra special. Yuda, with his sweet disposition & perfect customer service made him he best host but most of all friend for life. Mr Angry (Angar) super professional, helps run the resort at the highest level. And who could forget Nicko, he is simply gorgeous and the go to man for any info on everything Bali!
The Breezes Resort is the perfect place to really enjoy Bali. It is truly value for money and I could not fault the Hotel or the staff.
We already miss some special faces, but for that very reason we will go back to Bali and the BREEZES ONLY!!

We have been to Bali 3 times before over the past 25 years and this was our first time in Seminyak where we spent 2 weeks at this resort. It is not beach front but about a 5 minute walk away with good restaurants close by and Seminyak square a 20 minute walk or there are plenty of taxis around, just remember to pay what is on the meter DO NOT add any zeros as one poor couple did, The taxi fare was 15000 but they paid 150000. Taxis are cheap in Bali and the most we paid was 100000 to go to Sanur about 20kms away.

We arrived at the resort early morning and were able to check in straight away as we paid for an additional night. The staff were very welcoming and they checked us in promptly and gave us a welcome drink which was cold and refreshing.

We were taken to our 1st floor Superior room number 225 and were well pleased with this room which was a generous size with a great bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool with a table and 2 comfortable chairs. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in in Asia being king sized and soft compared to a lot of beds in Asia which tend to be hard. There were 2 bedside tables with good table lamps and a desk and separate arm chair the art works are in keeping with Bali. There is a small flat screen TV and we got a fruit bowl . There is an in room safe in the ample wardrobe. Mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities. Furniture is of the rubbed down distressed look.

For the second week we decided to upgrade to a poolside ground floor Deluxe room at an additional cost of USD30 a night without first seeing the room. The reason we did this was for the benefit of having our own private area in front of our room giving us our own personal comfortable sunlounges, umbrella & table and direct pool access.

On entering the deluxe!!!! room what a let down! If we had seen this room first we NEVER would have moved and if there wasn't a plaque outside stating it was a deluxe room we would have thought it was a standard! The bed was massive about 8 feet across and dominated the room making it appear very small. The top of the mattress was 247 cms from the ground and as I am short I had to virtually pole vault to get into it! This could be an issue for some people. The mattress was also HARD!! Ouch! There was only 1 bedside table which was too low for the bed, We rang for another table and got one even smaller and lower also there were no table lamp lights and no fruit bowl.

The bathroom was half the size, what a let down. The flat screen TV was the same size, there were dimmer switches on the room lights. The furniture was not as nice and looked older.

Couldn't believe we gave up our nice Superior room for this. The room was not deluxe and shouldn't be called this. It just has poolside facilities and a so called private deck but people keep walking past and you can get some noise from the pool bar but in all fairness we were only disturbed 1 night by some very rowdy girls who took it upon themselves to climb on the bar and dance! They have 2 happy hours a day with the 2nd going from 5pm to 8pm at the pool bar, buy 2 get the third free. Plenty of young people were taking this up which surprised us as the supermarket next door sells Bintang and other drinks much cheaper than the hotel. Must say the cocktails were nice though. They have pool bar games as well which can get a bit rowdy and loud.

The pool is large and terraced and curves around to a smaller pool with sandy beach.

The hotel is spotless and the rooms really clean. We saw some of the staff t steam cleaning a room at one time.

There were plenty of families with small children and lots of activites for them as well as a cinema, tennis court, small library and DVDs to take to your room. There is also a spa.

We didn't try the restaurants. Breakfast had a good choice and there was plenty of it. On Sunday the brunch is fantastic with lots of seafood.

Would have preferred pots of tea or coffee on the tables as the staff were a bit slack in coming round with these, several times we had to help ourselves.

The guest relations manager Nicko is a stand out and an asset to this hotel although we found all the staff very good. Darma our cleaner gave us great towel origami every day and little notes

Would we stay here again, probably not. Whilst it is a nice hotel there is nothing about it that would make us want to go back.

We found the guest ratio to be about 80% Australians, 10% New Zealand and 10% others.

Room Tip: Check it out before upgrading.Rooms away from the pool bar are quieter

Visited the resort at Christmas had a great room and good time.
Booked to go back on the 09/08/13 and selected one of 8 rooms I would have been happy with and didn't get one of them. After one night I changed rooms but still not one I requested.
I contacted the resort a week before I went as was requested to confirm the room but I still didn't get it.
They tell me the rooms are subject to availability. I booked 6 months in advance surely that gives them enough time to make them available.
They have free wifi which is hopeless, you have to go to a cafe if you need the internet.
They keep putting bills under your door to get you to pay your room tab, when you phone and ask why they tell you it is a mistake don't worry about it. then when you order a drink at the pool bar they embarrass you by telling you cash only.
They have a departure lounge for people leaving on late flights so you can shower before you leave. Cold water.
The staff are lovely very helpful but their hands are tied with these rules.
Most unhappy with the situation as were many other visitors. Wont be back

Room Tip: That's the problem. You can't choose a room. It does seem though that they leave some good r...

We stayed at the Breezes for a couple of nights at the end of our trip. We booked it, being a 'safe' choice as it was our first time to Bali. But safe is all we can really say about it as it had no character.

The customer service was quite attentive, but almost to the point of being overbearing. Someone to check us in. Someone to show us to (and around) our room. Someone to bring our bags. The phone also seemed to ring a lot; guest services manager wanting to meet us, people we didn't know looking for us which seemed rather odd. We eventually had to unplug the phone because it seemed every time we were in the room the phone was ringing.

All in all the Breezes is a satisfactory hotel. It's clean, the room was spacious (very comfortable bed), the the pool is quite nice. The breakfast is decent and the staff are friendly. The location is quite close to the beach and shopping but not a particularly picturesque area. It's just lacking that certain something.

We stayed at the Breezes in July 2013 in 2 interconnecting superior rooms. The rooms were adequate, not huge but having 2 made a difference, although balcony was a little cramped. The pools are lovely, the gym was fine, not the best I've been too in resorts but adequate. The breakfast was a bit average, it had a big selection but it was just easy to become bored with, it was not changed enough, except Sundays, the extra japanese treats etc were my favourite. We have experienced fantastic buffet breakfasts at the Padma in Legian and Kartika Plaza in Kuta so in comparison, well there isn't really one, especially stale donuts on more than 1 day. Our rooms didn't often get serviced until at least 3 pm which if your not in it much isnt a big deal but it is rather late if you come up to the room to relax and have some privacy in the afternoon. We arrived on my son's 9th birthday and we were surprised with a birthday pancake stack for him which was really lovely and appreciated. The internet is ok, although it drops out alot of the time and is pretty slow. The hotel is absolutely fine to stay in, I dont have any major complaints but I wouldn't stay here again simply because it is not on the beach. It is only a short walk, 5 mins but we are a family of surfers and it is so much more convenient to be on or across from the beach without carting surfboards down the road. Seminyak is a great area, the shopping is more up market and can be expensive but can also be very reasonable too. We enjoyed staying here but in future Legian seems to suit us more as far as the location goes.
