Hotel was OK. The rooms were quite large but the 'deluxe' bed was two single beds pushed together. Also fridge was useful. Staff were fine. Breakfast was OK. All stairs though which might be tough for some travellers if on a high floor.

2 adults and a child travelling.

we booked this quite late so got a deal through expedia. we had an upstairs villa, which was very spacious even with the extra bed. the bathroom was very large. plenty of hot water.
hotel has a small pool with good sun loungers in excellent condition. staying round the pool was peaceful and although we could hear the road noise it did not bother us.
The furnishings in the room are a little dated, but the bedding is very clean and the room looked recently decorated , walls and soft furnishings etc. The room cleaners do a good job each day and we had no problems with cockroaches or anything.
the terrace we had was small and totally enclosed, but this also meant very private which was great for a quiet drink afetr a long day on the beach.
breakfast was included with our stay and there was enough choice, with fruit, egg and pancake station, hot food inc noodles etc, salads, toast, drinks.
all the staff were helpful and not in your face just pleasant and chatty.
no major downsides, except the bathroom takes a while to get rid of the water from the shower, but you can deal with it.
the hotel is a15 minute walk to the beach, but this is not a complaint as we knew about this beforehand. reception staff efficient.
the layout of the hotel is delightful and peaceful after the noise and traffic outside. food which we had in the restaurant was not expensive and was good.

we would use the hotel again if we got a deal again as the furnishings in the rooms would need to be updated to to pay anymore.

Room tip: get a room facing the back, less noise from the road.

Nice hotel in indonesian style. Great service and good location. Pharmacy, mini market, bike rental, small restaurant are all the next door. A little bit far from beach, but very quietly place.
The only thing I didn't like was breakfast.

I stayed 4 nights in October last year. Puri is a good value accommodation, my room was quite big. October was humid but not unbearable, I liked that each evening someone would light the mosquito coils out the front of my room. The big positives for me - aircon in my room, and complimentary 2 water bottles. When I had taken one with me to go sight seeing, staff would replace with a new one when I returned to my room. The staff at reception are very courteous and helpful. The pool looked tempting though I did not have a swim, and the breakfast each morning which was part of my room rate was great. Freshly made omelette on your request by friendly staff, toast, coffee, and fresh local fruit. Bed was comfortable, for the price I paid, I can't think of a negative. It's a good way to get a feel for Bali, that you would not get in a 5 star resort. I would definitely recommend.

Great stay at this hotel. We had 2 rooms in a private villa for 2 adults and 3 children (11 9 6) The hotel has a great feel, with carvings statues and the meandering walkways. It is clean and well maintained and the staff helpful and hospitable.
The breakfasts were great, the best in our 2 weeks in Bali and the afternoon pizzas around the pool kept the kids quiet, almost a miracle.
We stayed here for our first 3 nights in Bali and booked again for our last 2 nights before flying out.
