Stylish, intimate, professional and great food. It's the perfect package. Absolutely stunning venue that provides food and service to match and at a very reasonable price. The perfect place for dinner. An absolute must whist in Bali.

Bambu Restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel conceirge as we did not manage to reserve a table at Mamasan over the Easter Sunday. Boy! We were not disappointed. The food was simply delicious. The waiters and waitresses were well trained about the food menu and were excellent in waiting at our table. Bambu had a short dining menu of less than twenty Javanese dishes catergorized into starters, mains and sides. The traditional names of the dishes were accompanied with English description. Diners should have no problem understanding, and the waiters and waitresses were always available to explain the dishes. Its drink and wine menu were rather uninspiring (of common standard). I forgot the names of the dishes we ordered. We skipped the starters and ordered four mains with 3 sides. The four mains included the chicken, the duck, the jackfruit curry and the beef. The sides were kang kung (a type of green leafy vegetable), tempeh and corn cakes. We truly enjoyed every dish, with special mentions of the chicken and beef. We were so "full" that we ordered just one dessert and a coffee to share. The single-origin coffee (Papua Wamena) i ordered tasted exceptional. The pancake was less surprisingly good. Our dinner for two costed ~USD80. Overall, Bambu is truly a gem in Seminyak.

Loved this place, food was great and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere with it set surrounded in water, maybe not a place for toddlers though as there are no barriers into the water. The Street style Pancakes for dessert are an absolute must!!! Will definitely return:-)

Great food - fine dining Indonesian style - locals always do their own food best! We had early sitting for family of four with young kids. Setting a little distracting for young ones with pools and fish! Cocktails a little disappointing but service was very friendly.
