Let me start by saying that this is my first ever review on Trip advisor notwithstanding having stayed is numerous wonderful properties around the world. That in itself should aptly preface this review.

My family and I stayed at the L Hotel for 4 nights from 227 Nov - 1 Dec. In a word, the experience was just "spectacular". While the property is a boutique property and so unlike many of the larger properties which have their own beaches and other facilities, its service level and location have sold me on this for all my future trips. This is after having stayed at properties like The Oberoi, The Grand Hyatt, The Conrad, just to name a few.

I love the attention to detail and the never say no attitude of all their staff, from personal butler, the drivers, the reception staff, restaurant staff etc. While the rooms are not large, they certainly are plush with great bathrooms and very comfortable beds. What we liked was that due to the intimate size of the property, (some 30 rooms), within a day or two, you really start recognising everyone and they you. The supply of a complimentary mobile phone allowed us to keep in touch with our butlers so that reservations for restaurants could be made and arrangements for pick up in the seminyak to and from the hotel. Breakfast was a treat with many quality items to order from the menu. The roof top bar for sunset is also very pleasant.

When we took ill from a dodgy seafood meal at a nearby beach club, they were quick to get the doctors in. The choice of doctor was conforting, especially when dealing with kids.

In terms of location, spectacular. A stone's throw from our favourite places like Ku De Ta, LaLuciola, W Hotel, Warung Made. Tried an amazing new restaurant down the road called Merah Putih (Red and White) at their recommendation. Our new favourite!!

No doubt we will return to the L next year.

Here's wishing the staff and management of the L Hotel all the very best for the festive season ahead.

Having stayed in many hotels before, I am hard pressed to find one that outdoes L Hotel Seminyak in terms of its impeccable service. From the moment we set foot onto this little gem in Jalan Petitenget, the staff have gone out of their way to make us feel very welcome.

What distinguishes this hotel is its warm, friendly and caring staff. Be they front desk staff like Mei, Mita or Agus, butlers such as Reni, Sukma and Eka or housekeeping staff such as Putu (sorry, I can't remember all their names), everyone of them has made a tremendous effort to attend to our needs and requests. Kudos to the entire team!

In addition, the hotel provides:
1. 24-hour butler service
2. Free shuttle to and from anywhere within the Seminyak area
3. Complimentary mini bar
4. Bedtime stories for your reading pleasure
5. A voucher which you can use daily to offset the cost of any of the hotel's services (e.g. room service, spa)

I will most certainly choose to stay in L Hotel Seminyak again!

I wasn't staying, I was dinning and it was excellent. But a feedback in the service, it was a reserved dinning with a pre selected set menu, so we shouldn't be waiting that long...but great success a head.

This boutique hotel is amazing. Service is of 6 stars! We stay for 8 nights and our requests are accomodated efficiently with smiles. The butlers are excellent, never say no and fulfilled our request. We are very picky in cleanliness and this hotel is very clean , bed is big and super comfotable. We love their outdoor pool and their beach spot. At night we dined at their rooftop bar and the ambience and the indian tandoori food is amazing. We already feel like a family and will surely return on our next bali trip.

This was by far the best hotel that I've ever stayed in. Went there for my honeymoon and the service just took my breath away. We stayed in the lifestyle suite. Although, the room is a little small but their service more than makes up for it. We upgraded to an all inclusive plan and got complimentary breakfasts, mini bar usage, a 15 dollar coupon every day, free shuttle and a cellphone.. It was totally worth it. They also assign you a personal butler to take care of all your needs which is great. Our butler, Reny, was the sweetest, most friendly person. When she got to know that we're on our honeymoon, she got us a lovely cake and decked up the room with roses and towel origami. Their rooftop bar, Luna is great. Their restaurant, Lola has the most amazingly romantic table right next to the pool. The entire staff is a delight and they take amazing pains to make sure your stay is comfortable. We are vegetarians and they created a veg breakfast menu especially for us which was really moving. In fact, Reny even got us a list of all the veg restaurants in the Seminyak area. They also leave little bedtime stories for you to read which was a really cute touch. The staff took time to explain about the hotel, the services, et al. Reny, Agung (concierge), Devi (Maitre De) and all the others are amazing. I would definitely suggest that anyone heading to Bali stay at this hotel. You'll not be disappointed.

Great hotel, great spa! Great location, near Kudeta and Potato Head. Clean, nice chic decor, love the Kiels Amenities. Great for people who wants to shop and dine in Seminyak. Not for people who loves the beach or wants to swim, the swimming pool are small and no access to beach from hotel. Will stay here again!

Room Tip: Standard Rooms are small, choose suite is size matters to you.

We chose this venue after careful research via TripAdvisor's posted feedback and glad that we did. In Bali only for one day before embarking for a cruise, we arrived exhausted after a 22 hour flight marathon from Vancouver. Greeted warmly like returning guests upon being delivered to the front door of this "compact size modern hotel. Relaxing check_in sitting down in the foyer while sipping a cool drink. Introduced to our personal butler (Reni) who took us up to our small but adequately sized modern room. She gave us directions and advice about local restaurants and explained the free hotel shuttle service as well as a complementary mobile phone for guests to use when they need a ride back from anywhere in Seminyak.
The common areas may not be 6 star in appearance, but this hotel makes up for it with attention to details in answering intuitive needs of most guests that make you wonder why more hotels don't do what they do.
Breakfast (buffet of Indonesian and Western options), if included in the room rate, is certainly worthwhile.
If you are looking for a top notch hotel with impressive grounds, large sunny pool, and a sensational lobby, this isn't it. (It does have a beach segment that gives you private use via the free hotel shuttle).
Not sure if I would stay here for more than a couple of days, but for us this time, after arriving at the end of an exhausting journey as new to Bali visitors, they are the answer from heaven.
