4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Food was fast, fresh and tasty. Yummo! Good prices and happy to eat here again, funky little place. Cocktails were good, however the red wine sangria was the BEST. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

“Might be the best restaurant in Seminyak”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

This is just a fabulous place! Food is really, really good and the staff were so nice!
We stayed in Seminyak for one month and I lost count on how many times we ate at Laca-Laca. We even had take away!! The atmosphere is nice with nice colors and vibes of Mexico. We had our 7 month baby son with us and he always sat in a baby chair and the short guy (the boss?) served him pineapple =)
This place is a strong memory from our time on Bali! Go there and try!

“Fabulous "true" Mexican”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

We were in Bali staying just off Jalan Drupadi in Feb 2014 and again May 2014.
Chose to eat here a number of times as food, service and general atmosphere were great.

Meals I and my friends/family would choose again -
Fundido - chorizo, tomato, chilli (although not too hot) & melted cheese with corn chips - yummo!! - a great starter to share.
The nachos (before there were nachos!) - again very yummy - only thing I would change is for the cheese to be melted.
Fajitas - a number of us had these over the various trips - I do prefer the chicken - they come out on a sizzling plate with the soft tortillas and accompaniments - only thing is we did aske for two more tortillas to use up the huge amount of meat/veg on the hot plate.
The short rib beef burgers were sensational - our eldest son said they were the best burgers he had EVER had - big call for a "twenty something to say".
And the frozen margaritas aren't bad either!!! A refreshing end to an afternoon shopping ( or in our case - a sleeping tablet help help us snooze the afternoon away after lunch)
Zi can't remember the Floor Captains name - but he was a delight - as was Millie - an Aussie lady of Balinese descent who I think was Asst Manager.
Is an open air area or those who prefer under the main roof - plenty of fans to keep the heat at bay.
We will only ever stay in this area again and will definitely be back to LacaLaca.
Options below only allow us to choose lunch or dinner - we had both and loved each time. They also do takeaways for those who want - our son didn't feel like going out so we ordered him something to take home.

“Fun Mexican Spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

I came for brekkie at 9am, and the whole town of Seminyak was so hungover from Friday night partying that I was the ONLY customer until about 11:30am! Really colorful setting - bright pink walls, multicolored chairs, trees. Feels like Sayulita, Mexico!

I ordered a lychee granita (delicious, but a little icier than the granitas at Cafe Zucchini), corn and zucchini pancakes with poached eggs, and a side of pot beans. The corn and zucchini pancakes were tasty - shredded zucchini and corn kernels battered and fried, topped with pico de gallo and diced avocados and runny poached eggs…yummmm. Thumbs up to the pot beans - nice and spicy, not mushy! All in 11 bucks.

“Fun, colourful and quirky setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014 via mobile

Had a quick lunch with friends and enjoyed every morsel. Some great Mexican food prepared without everything being drowned in sour cream and cheese so the fresh flavours could really be appreciated. Fun, quirky and colourful setting. A great place to stop for lunch.
