Stayed here a in early April for 2 nights and upon arrival the reception is simple and on top of a staircase. Due to the price we paid we were expecting something a bit more flashy and luxurious, not to say it wasn't very comfortable, but the facilities of the building are falling apart and you can tell that it is reaching 10 years old. The tiny single bathroom at reception is quite disgusting and we were a bit surprised at it. The location is great, a very short walk to Seminyak Square and we didn't use the shuttle bus.
Photos on the website are pretty on point but they don't show you how old the building and construction is. When you stay you'll see quite a few things broken (Wooden sliding doors get stuck very easily in Villa 5, cracking walls in the outdoor bathroom and mould, broken cabinets and rusting closures within the doors in the bedroom.) The sliding doors really need to be replaced as it was most annoying trying to get in and out and keep the air con inside, and to maintain privacy if you get a little sick.
Staff were great and friendly, always helpful and no issue. It is more management that needs to invest in fixing up the small issues in each villa if they expect to charge upwards >$300 a night for a villa. We stayed in a villa in ubud for $85 and it was much the same and better value for money. The pool was great and cleaned daily. Not enough hooks/drying towel racks in the bathroom.
Just a note they have little ceramic shower gels in the bathroom which I'd recommend not using as they are very slippery and one got broken, costing us 175000 IDR as a flat fee from management. A bit of a high cost for such a tiny amenity.
We had a good stay, not amazing but not terrible. Probably wouldn't stay here again as there are other properties at similar prices that are in better condition. Consider paying less elsewhere and not feel a bit ripped off.
