Me & the other half stayed here for our first 5 nights in Bali. Arriving down what can only be described as a dirt track, certainly made us abit apprehensive, especially after such pleasing reviews on here. However once we reached the hotel and checked into our room we were very surprised. Gorgeous room, beautifully decorated and furnished, massive bed, and a small kitchenette. The personal touches such as baliensian bath robes & fresh daily water were very nice!

The service was great and the staff were very helpful in arranging taxi's and trips. They even booked us a trip down to the south of the island Jimbaran bay, in which they charged us nothing for transport (in a taxi this would of cost well over 100,000 rp for both ways). The breakfast was very very limited and was a very small portion.

The location was somewhat out of the way from the beach and the main Seminyak strip, therefore we had to get taxi's everywhere, which was abit of a pain.Surrounding the hotel is a n area undergoing development so please be warned that the view outside of the hotel is perhaps not as idyllic as one would like, however there was no noise etc.

Other than those comments made above it was a really pleasant & enjoyable stay & we would definitely recommend,

We stayed in a pool villa. The 1st thing we saw when we walked in was our own beautiful sparkling pool! The room was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly, the outdoor shower was awesome! We would definitely come back to this place.
We borrowed the bicycles (which was free) and went for a ride to the main road with all the shops. Shopping was good but it was more expensive than Kuta. If you don't want to walk or ride you can just get a taxi as it is ridiculously cheap, even to Kuta.
We heard that some people didn't like the bumpy road but we seriously did not care about that as it is not very long and we saw some roads that were 10 times worse than that.
I just loved this place and we didn’t want to go.

Room Tip: Get a pool villa for sure! I think our room number was 115 and it was great!

We spent the first three nights of our Balinese Honeymoon in Astana Kunti. We loved it, it was like a little sanctuary. Our one bedroom private pool villa was immaculate and a great size. The food was nice and the service was excellent. The staff we super friendly. We taxied everywhere rather than walkig. It was cheap and a taxi would come in a few minutes. T\We found it excellent value for money and would definitely recommend it.

The accommodation is very well presented although it's located on a unmaintained & unsealed road making a very bumpy & uncomfortable ride in a taxi.We had a selected a Private Villa with it's own pool, living area, outdoor shower & kitchenette.Villa was well maintained with pleasant friendly staff on hand although they had difficulties understanding simple requests. You must lodge your breakfast request every night before, but most days the breakfast (very ordinary) was usually late & on one day lost or forgotten.
Towels were showing some stains with serious wear & tear. They offer a free transport drop off service, subject to availability! It was never available on every occasion we required it. Taxi's need to be pre-booked due to location. Great place for a quiet get away for 2. Shop around for Best Price. I would never pay their asking rack rate, you'll get better value elsewhere.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa. The room had a huge adjoining bathroom with a bathtub, and there was an outdoor shower on the outside. You would step out of the room to your private pool and a small dining area with a tiny kitchen. It was really great. We didnt use the pool at all though - we'd wake up in the morning to find leaves and insects had fallen into the pool. Although the pool was cleaned everyday, it'd still get dirty rather quickly. There were two deck chairs for tanning but you wouldnt get much sun because of the palm trees.
Showering in the outdoor shower was great - until we realised there were alot of insects in the open. Dragonflies, spiders, ants, termites etc. We would have to call the staff to bring an insect spray to our room.
The bed was really comfortable, and there was a huge TV with dvd player in the room. DVDs were available at front desk.
Breakfast would be served in the room. You can choose your breakfast the day before at the front desk. We would sit next to our pool at the dining area and have a lovely private breakfast every morning
Overall this place was peaceful and very pretty, I would go back. I just wouldnt pay the extra money for a private pool.
