We did not need a White Rabbit to entice us to Wonderland: the lovely rose studded entrance complimented by a white picket fence provided sufficient appeal to enter the delightful garden of this truly wonderful restaurant. Walking past white wrought iron garden settings and very comfy looking lounges, we entered the restaurant.
Once inside, we felt like participants in the Mad Hatter’s tea-party: two giant chairs modeled on Alice’s, and lovely wall decorations made us grin like the Cheshire Cat!
Our two waitresses were nothing like Tweedledum and Tweedledee; highly efficient, professional, considerate and welcoming, they provided wonderful dishes including a delicious pumpkin salad generously sprinkled with crushed pine nuts, a variety of tapas ( Italian sausages, stuffed peppers, olives and feta cheeses), spare ribs and mashed potatoes accompanied by divine wines. Our dessert was an absolutely wonderful pavlova with fresh warm fruit.
We really don’t understand why this fantastic restaurant is not fully booked night after night and propose this riddle for the Mad Hatter to solve. The various floor shows next door are very loud and intrusive, though…
We really enjoyed this restaurant very much and would have returned had we not have time constraints.
As for the noisy neighbours we quote the Queen of Hearts: “Off with their heads!”
