“Once again i found Paradise”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

I stayed here from March 7 for 7 nights during Balinese New Year. On Tuesday was quite day and we had to stay within the Villa compound. It was a great way to experince Balinese culture and we all need a day away from the computer and tv every now and then.

Once again the staff really make Bali Aroma. Its position is also very conveinant. If you walk across the paddock to the beach, next store is The Mosaic Beach Club, then a 4 minute walk along the beach to the 6 star W Resort and then another 5 minute walk to Potato Head Beachh club. All these palces are 5/6 star experiences. The food and drink are World class and compared to Australian prices, very reasonable. If you take a taxi to Potato Head it can take 15 minutes because of the way the streets lay. Walk and enjoy.

You will go along way to find a better value Villa than Bali Aroma and it is well posiitoned and quite. Enjoy a real slice of paradise.

Our family of 6 stayed for 7 days in a 3 bedroom Villa and this was truely a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in at 11.30pm, the service we recieved was perfect. We walked thru the lush gardens into the courtyard of our private villa and the pictures you see on the web site are exactly what you get. We were all blown away how beautiful it was. The bedrooms are huge and the air conditioning is fantastic. The outdoor bathrooms are great and taking a shower in the rain is an experience! Everything was in great condition but we need to keep in mind the extreme wet and hot weather can take a toll on outdoor shades which needed some repair. Outdoor furniture was in perfect condition, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff went out of their way to help when necessary, offering umbrellas when it rained, greeting us every morning and when we arrived at the end of the day. They are happy to book any reservations, tours, drivers, anything you need.
Complimentry breakfast was ok, served hot to your room. The banana pancakes were great.
You must try the Chicken cordon bleu & the Hamburgers at the restaurant - Rai the chef was a wonderful lady who remembered us all by name, and catered for our every needs. The meals were very filling at great prices - great when you've had a long day out and just want to rest for the night with the family.
I loved the complete privacy of our villa, we would not have known that there was anyone else around us. We felt perfectly safe, had complete privacy, yet had staff on our door if we needed them. It was the Balinese exprience I was expecting and we could not have been any happier. I would recommend this property to any family or group of people looking for a quiet secure restful break. Loved it. Thankyou Rai and Rooney for a wonderful time, thankyou for looking after us all.

Room Tip: Lavender Room has a great view of the gardens, rice fields. No-one looking in and not close to any c...

This villa was beautiful and the staff just as good. They realized it was my bday from my passport and made me a bday cake. Every morning they delivered us our breakfast and at night came in while we were out to turn on our lights and get us prepared for bed.
A little out of the way but only a $5 cab to kuta which is perfect for a romantic getaway with your own private pool and outdoor bathroom.

We stayed in both a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom villa during our stay, and both were in terrific condition. While the property is 3 years old, tropical conditions of course wear some parts. The staff were fabulous although a little more English and local knowledge would go a long way to assisting to find places to shop and eat. A couple of points - as a parent, I wouldn't have been happy with young children as access between bedrooms is outdoors, including without cover for the 3 bedroom so if it's raining it's slippery and very inconvenient. Also forget walking anywhere, it's unsafe on the local road, Batu Belig, and you'll need a taxi anywhere (Seminyak is =US$2, Kuta US$4-5). There's nothing local particularly special to visit, shop or eat at so suggest walking up the road from Seminyak Square, the Flea Markets or Ku De Ta. In summary, a great stay and awesome having the privacy, space, pool, AC and friendly staff, but downside is the isolation.

We arrived at Bali Aroma to have our final leg of our honeymoon.

Shocked to find really run down rooms
Lack of staff (we waited 4 hrs to meet the manager upon arrival of our room issues) needless to say she didnt show until the last day

While the villa is nice - this place has alot of run down components.
Outdoor furniture is horrible - super uncomfortable and dirty.
The toilet in our villa was exposed to the rain - that was nice in rainy season :(

There is no fan in the outdoor living space witch doesnt help with airflow or the bugs
The grounds were rather unpolished
Breakfast was basic at best, after 1 day of it we decided against it.

Staff to nothing to go above and beyond.
In the pitch of the hotel it says Airport Transfer is included, well this is only if your there for 7 nights, we were there for 5 and they had no interest in accommodating us.

Its an easy walk to the beach so that was nice

In summary
After several trips to bali and renting many villas - I would stear clear of this place to avoid EXTREME rundown, lack of service from the staff, kinda of out in no where, rather tough to justify what we paid per night and the lack of service and experience

If you are happy to fend for yourself then this may be for you

We will NEVER EVER BE back to this place and would have you think 2 before you go

The pictures are not much like the location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quiet and relax place for family and friends. If one is looking for privacy, this villa has it all.

The room is also spacious and airy. However, the pool is definitely not for swimming due to the size but its good enough for a relaxed dip and jacuzzi.

Pantry area is also large especially for families who loves cooking.

Last but not least, The beach nearby also provides serenity. However, the area is not shopping friendly but its still within walking distance.

Stayed from the 18th-28th December 2012. Walking into our villa at night for the first time took our breath away, absolutely beautiful. Rooms, pool, kitchen everything was excellent. Staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Breakfast delivered to the villa is a beautiful way to start the day. Loved the surrounding area, beautiful restaurants ( especially naughty nuri's), a little shopping but a quick drive into seminyak square was well worth it. Every accommodation has something that would of should of could of had and bali aroma is no different but they aren't worth mentioning and are our personal views. We loved it, it was quiet place to escape the hussle of kuta etc . I can recommend Bali Aroma without hesitation. The biggest asset is their staff :) we are coming back in April 2013 and have booked the same villa!!

Room Tip: 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our family of 4.
