Description: SIP is a trendy and animated French brasserie-like in the heart of bustling Seminyak in Bali. Authentic French regional cuisine is its culinary identity enhanced by one of the most comprehensive wine lists in Indonesia, offering no less than 16 wines by the glass, daily.SIP thrives to maintain its reputation of ‘high quality-affordable’ bistro/brasserie with a perky ambience, providing a truthful and relevant piece of Paris in Bali.Gallic fun under the tropics!

Had the set menu. Good value at 195000 rp++ each - 3 courses. Tuna carpaccio the best I have ever had. Mahi Mahi cooked to perfection. Apple tart homemade, then crisp pastry with wafer thin apples. 20000rp extra for a scoop of delicious ice cream was a bit much. Hubby a disappointed with main - basically 'chicken and chips'. Tables very close together. Outstanding local service. Suggest table inside. Novel wine promotions. An oasis. Things done properly.

We have eaten twice at this chic French bistro. The ambience is warm, inviting and elegant. The staff are friendly and well trained. The drinks list and wine list are interesting and for Bali comprehensive. Both the owner and chef are welcoming and consummate restaurateurs. The piece de resistance is the food. It is beautifully presented and full of flavour. For Bali it is at the more expensive end of the scale but with food that good who cares!

I travel to Bali 2 or 3 times a month and have eaten there on almost every trip and always had a wonderful dinner , great wine selection and excellent service.
The owner Christian is gracious and makes you feel most welcome.
Yes the menu and wines can be on the expensive side but the taste and service is worth it compared to other options in Bali.
Make a reservation to be seated in doors to enjoy the air con and away from the street noise or weather on windy nights .
Do not go unless you are willing to spend about $ 100 US per person including drinks and dessert.
I heartily recommend SIP for a relaxing dinning experience.

Food is average I've had better in Bali for a lot less. For a Michelin star chef to send out this excuse for food astounds me. But we realised through our last course why our food was so bad, there was the chef on the other side of the restaurant decanting wine and kissing up to a table of ex-pats. Waste of time and money. Seriously overpriced, go anywhere but here! Waste of a night!

Lunch at SIP is a great option. SIP is located in the center of Seminyak next to the Bintang supermarket. During the day time due to the heavy traffic and street sounds I would recommend to eat indoors.
The chef and owner were both very generous with us, offering us some good french amuse bouch to start with. SIP is a pleasant bistro that offers a great choice of food and wine with a great atmosphere for Bali.
The service are impeccable and made our lunch even more outstanding. Thanks SIP!! I will be coming back one day for sure.
