This restaurant is been around for sometimes, it looks tired but the food is good. Between the four of us we ordered soft shell crab with mayonaise based sauce, spanish omelet, croquettes, spinach, asparagus, beef carpaccio, meat balls, and a bottle of red wine. And 2 coffees, with 1 chocolate mousse for dessert. The bill comes to Rp. 1,200,000. Reasonable price for Bali standards.
Service was good, the only minus point is we told the waiter that we want our coffee to come together with the chocolate mousse and that didn't happen. Not only that, we had to ask the waiter where our coffees are.

I will come again to try more tapas, definitely will recommend this place for dinner.

We ate here on a Sunday night and while it was a little quiet, we received excellent service and the food was fantastic. You can eat far cheaper in Bali but for a treat and great Spanish food (authentic too, we've spent a lot of time in Spain) then you can't go past La Sal.

Don't get me wrong: this a good Tapas/Paella Restaurant with a nice décor, a hard working staff and very amicable and helpful Manager (owner?). The Tapas were very good (especially the grilled vegetables, flat out excellent!) and we weren't disappointed.
But... a few little details to make it excellent: A better wine list (tip: bring your own, corkage is very affordable), a little bit more generosity in the paella (which was very low on rice so half of it was extra crispy - probably because we were only two) to focus on the two big ones.
Prices not expensive but not cheap so, with the competition in Seminyak, this is more an encouragement for this place to be great!

6 of us had dinner here last night on a friends recommendation. We shared tapas, the mushrooms, sardines, croquettes, soft shell crab & potatoes were all delicious. We then had a seafood & chicken paella. All of the food was to die for. Absolutely brilliant. The service is very good, even the lady who attends to the toilet, to make sure everything is perfectly clean.
Ranon congratulations to you & your staff, you are all doing a great job.
